TAG Heuer Monza Flyback Chronograph Celebrates 50 Years of Racing Heritage

Half a century after its debut, the TAG Heuer Monza returns in a limited edition inspired by one of the Maison’s most celebrated racing chronographs. The TAG Heuer Monza Flyback Chronograph combines the collection’s motorsport heritage with contemporary materials, purposeful design and mechanical precision.

Presented ahead of the FORMULA 1 PIRELLI GRAN PREMIO D’ITALIA 2026 in Monza, the new anniversary edition pays tribute to the original 1976 model while embracing the technical expertise and design language of today’s TAG Heuer. Only 500 numbered pieces will be produced, bringing together fifty years of racing history in a chronograph designed for modern performance.

Born on the Circuit

The history of the TAG Heuer Monza is closely connected to Formula 1® and Ferrari. In 1971, Heuer became the Official Timekeeper of Scuderia Ferrari, becoming the first watchmaker to partner with a Formula 1® team. Four years later, Niki Lauda secured the Formula 1® World Championship, bringing Ferrari its first Drivers’ title since 1964.

To celebrate this achievement, Heuer introduced the Monza collection in 1976. The chronograph immediately stood apart through its distinctive racing appearance and character. Its bold personality and close connection with motorsport established the Monza as one of the Maison’s most recognizable chronographs. Over subsequent decades, the collection evolved through successive interpretations reflecting the technical progress and creative direction of their respective eras.

For its fiftieth anniversary, the TAG Heuer Monza enters a new chapter. The limited edition draws inspiration from the collection’s visual identity while building upon the contemporary TAG Heuer Monza Flyback Chronograph introduced in 2023. The result honors an important moment in the Maison’s history while expressing its current vision of performance and precision.

Engineered for Today’s Race

The TAG Heuer Monza Flyback Chronograph offers a contemporary interpretation of one of the Maison’s distinctive racing chronographs. Its design combines modern materials, purposeful details and mechanical precision while preserving the visual cues that have defined the collection for five decades.

At its center is a 42 mm forged carbon case. Recognized throughout modern motorsport for its exceptional strength and remarkably low weight, forged carbon provides wearing comfort while creating a unique marbled texture. As a result, each watch has its own individual appearance. The cushion-shaped case introduced with the contemporary TAG Heuer Monza reinforces the watch’s sporting character and its connection to modern racing technology.

The case is complemented by a carbon fixed bezel and a domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective treatment. The watch also features a carbon crown at 3 o’clock, black DLC steel round push buttons at 2 and 4 o’clock, and a black DLC titanium-grade 2 screwed case back carrying the limited-edition engraving. Water resistance is rated at 100 meters.

A Dial Inspired by the Original Monza

The black matte dial introduces design elements inspired by the original 1976 Heuer Monza while remaining rooted in contemporary watchmaking. Matte black chronograph counters contrast with the dial to maximize legibility, while red accents recall the historic color signatures of the collection.

White lacquered hour and minute hands are treated with white SuperLumiNova® for readability. The dial layout includes a black matte minute chronograph counter with a red lacquered hand at 3 o’clock, a black matte permanent seconds indicator with a white lacquered hand at 6 o’clock, and an angled date aperture at 9 o’clock. A red lacquered central chronograph hand adds another distinctive detail.

Framing the dial is a black flange featuring both a tachymeter and pulsometer scale, referencing the functional origins of the chronograph.

The TH20-12 Flyback Chronograph

Through the sapphire crystal case back, the TAG Heuer Monza Flyback Chronograph reveals the COSC-certified manufacture Calibre TH20-12. The movement incorporates a flyback chronograph function, allowing consecutive timing intervals to be measured without interrupting the chronograph.

A single press resets and restarts the timing sequence, making the complication particularly valuable in motorsport, where fractions of a second matter.

The watch is completed by a black perforated calfskin leather strap with red stitching, a detail described by TAG Heuer as a subtle reference to the world of classic motor racing. The strap is paired with a black DLC titanium-grade 2 sandblasted folding clasp with double safety pushbuttons.

A Limited Edition of 500 Pieces

The TAG Heuer Monza Flyback Chronograph is presented as a limited edition of only 500 numbered pieces, reinforcing its position within the Maison’s collector-focused chronograph offerings. The case back carries an individual limited-edition engraving in the format XXX/500.

The model is identified as CR5092.FC8372 and measures 42 mm in diameter. It is powered by Calibre TH20-12 and features a black matte dial, carbon case and bezel, sapphire crystal, and black perforated calfskin leather strap with red stitching.

Fifty Years on the Racing Line

Unveiled during one of the most anticipated weekends of the Formula 1® season, the TAG Heuer Monza Flyback Chronograph continues the connection between the Maison and motor racing. Fifty years after the original TAG Heuer Monza celebrated a World Championship victory, the anniversary edition carries that story forward with a contemporary flyback chronograph focused on performance, precision and racing heritage.

TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph

At the intersection of audacity and mastery, Swiss luxury watchmaker TAG Heuer introduces a new release of its TAG Heuer Monaco Split- Seconds Chronograph. This 2025 edition reveals a new expression of material innovation: it is presented in a visually striking form of titanium, for which the process has been entirely developed in-house. This texturized titanium, named TH-Titanium, brings a new visual identity that feels elemental, singular, almost alive.

The Shape of Innovation

Since its inception in 1969, the TAG Heuer Monaco has been a symbol of contrarian design. With its distinctive square shape, left crown and signature blue dial, the TAG Heuer Monaco shattered conventions in the watchmaking world. Notably, it became the first water-resistant and automatic square chronograph wristwatch, further solidifying its status as an icon. Ahead of its time with its avant-garde aesthetics, it found admiration among creative visionaries like Sammy Davis Jr., Stanley Kubrick, and Steve McQueen.

Splitting the Seconds

Meanwhile, the rich legacy of TAG Heuer’s split-seconds chronograph watches dates back over a century. From the early 1900s, the Maison has dedicated itself to mastering this significant horological complication, evident in various references of stopwatches and dashboard timers.

A pivotal moment came in 1916 with the creation of the Mikrosplit, a stopwatch capable of recording separate intervals to 1/100th of a second. This landmark achievement laid the foundation for TAG Heuer’s legacy in high-performance timekeeping, from Olympic Games stopwatches in the early 20th century to dashboard timers used in motorsport. Over the decades, the drive for precision naturally led to the development of other split-seconds timepieces, a complication that exemplifies the Maison’s technical mastery and competitive spirit.

In the 1960s, Heuer stopwatches became a staple in motorsport paddocks, like the memorable reference 11.402 that featured a split-seconds chronograph capable of measuring time with 1/10th of a second accuracy. Used by Jean Campiche, a Heuer timekeeper working with Scuderia Ferrari, this model became iconic. In 1989, TAG Heuer introduced a quartz split-seconds chronograph wristwatch, gaining immense popularity, especially among racing legends like Ayrton Senna, Gerhard Berger and Michael Schumacher.

In 2024, TAG Heuer brought this complication back and expanded the TAG Heuer Monaco collection with the TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph in original blue and racing red, two interpretations that set the stage for this year’s latest evolution, where craftsmanship meets a radical new approach to material design.

The Depth of Movement

Crafted entirely in titanium for exceptional lightness and framed in sapphire to expose its movement’s architectural depth, the TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph is driven by the Calibre TH81-00, developed in partnership with Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier and also crafted in titanium, weighing only 30 grams.

The split-seconds function, also called “rattrapante” in French, is a highly sophisticated and intricate mechanism that requires the most expert of watchmakers due to its complexity. It is capable of measuring two separate time intervals concurrently, providing a level of functionality that exceeds that of a regular chronograph. Whether timing laps on the racetrack or tracking multiple sporting events, the TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph offers unparalleled accuracy and versatility in its usage.

This movement contributes to the watch’s exceptional weight: a mere 86 grams in total, including strap and buckle.

The Birth of TH-Titanium

What further elevates this new timepiece is its case, sculpted from a new form of titanium that transforms the essence of the metal itself. Developed over four years, this innovative take on titanium marks a significant material breakthrough. This project was led by the TAG Heuer Lab, the Maison’s in-house R&D institute based in La Chaux-de- Fonds. Led by a team of experts and scientists specialized in a wide range of disciplines and benefiting from state-of- the-art equipment, the TAG Heuer Lab is driven by innovation, always pushing the boundaries of watchmaking.

Using a proprietary thermal process, the metal is transformed at an atomic level to reveal its hidden structure. The result is a natural, irregular pattern that shifts with light. The pattern on each case is therefore entirely unique, shaped by the intrinsic structure of the metal rather than the human hand.

The metal used to craft TH-Titanium is a specific type of titanium alloy, known for its strength, corrosion resistance, and ability to retain energy. This form of titanium is typically reserved for aerospace components, turbine elements, and high-performance automotive parts.

To create this one-of-a-kind faceted effect on the metal’s surface, the TAG Heuer Lab has developed a series of specially designed thermal treatments, reorganizing the alloy’s atomic structure. Through this process, the unique visual identity of TH-titanium is revealed, refined, and preserved. What appears on the case is the alloy’s own character, captured at a moment of transformation, and secured for lasting performance.

Precision Exposed

To match the depth and dimensionality of the new case, the TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph retains its remarkable sapphire bezel and dial. This transparency deliberately invites to observe the interplay between form and function.

Beneath the dial, the black opaline chronograph counters create a striking contrast, while the rattrapante hand is finished in a vibrant lime green. That same lime hue appears on the titanium rattrapante pusher and the counters’ hands, guaranteeing maximum legibility and drawing a subtle but unmistakable connection to the world of racing, where these tones are often used to signal speed and performance. The balance struck between the darkened bridges and hand-made polished bevels, the shadow and the shine, underlines the sense of mechanical drama.

Adding to this effect, the caseback is crafted entirely in sapphire crystal, offering unobstructed views of the Calibre TH81-00. The oscillating weight, shaped in the signature TAG Heuer shield, appears to hover within the movement, enhancing the sense of depth and lightness. Perfectly symmetrical, it is hand-finished with fine brushing that highlights its contours. The hand-engraved checkered flag pattern, a TAG Heuer signature finish, adds a layer of detail, reinforcing the visual complexity of the watch’s inner mechanics.

Hand-painted stripes bring a distinct graphic identity to the timepiece, as a subtle nod to racing liveries. The adjacent balance wheel bridge is finely brushed with polished bevels, carefully finished by hand, continuing the watch’s quiet dialogue between technical precision and expert craftsmanship.

Each individually numbered on the oscillating weight, these timepieces are accompanied by a hand-stitched black calfskin strap with a textile pattern, secured with a titanium clasp.

The finished result of the TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph reflects TAG Heuer’s avant-garde DNA, and the brand’s refusal to accept matter as static, reimagining it instead as alive, reactive, and expressive.

The TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph stands as a clear expression of what happens when vision and innovation are allowed to lead.

TAG Revitalizes an Icon

TAG Heuer, the Swiss Luxury Watchmaker synonymous with daring innovation and precision craftsmanship-proudly releases an exciting evolution of a timeless icon: the TAG Heuer Carrera Day-Date. This launch marks an elevation and a distinctive evolution of a timepiece that is deeply rooted in motor racing heritage and renowned for its timeless look, exceptional performance, and enduring connection to the world’s most celebrated drivers. With six stunning new models, TAG Heuer blends tradition with modernity, offering an array of choices that reflect the brand’s ongoing commitment to excellence in watchmaking.

The TAG Heuer Carrera Day-Date has long been a cornerstone of TAG Heuer’s portfolio, celebrated as one of the brand’s staple timepieces. With its understated elegance and dependable functionality, it has earned a place on the wrists and hearts of many. Recognizing the importance of this model, TAG Heuer has reimagined the Carrera Day-Date to elevate it further, incorporating upgrades with manufacture movement, refined aesthetics, and an expanded range of options that meet diverse customer desires.

A Story Rooted in the Love for Racing

To understand the significance of the TAG Heuer Carrera, one must go back t o the early 1960s, when Jack Heuer envisioned a watch that would reflect his love for motorsport. Inspired by the legendary Carrera Panamericana Road race in Mexico held in the 1950s — a treacherous event celebrated for its daring and glory-Jack Heuer sought to create a timepiece that captured the spirit o f the drivers who braved it. He wanted legibility, precision, and practicality: a watch that could withstand the adrenaline of competition while being effortlessly elegant. The TAG Heuer Carrera was born in 1963. With its clean lines and innovative chronograph design, it quickly became synonymous with the golden age of racing. But what cemented its place in the world of motorsport was Jack Heuer’s clever decision to present Heuer watches to drivers, including gold Heuer Carreras. These watches, worn by some of the most iconic figures in Motor racing and beyond, quickly became symbols of success – and in some cases, good fortune too.

One of the most remarkable examples of the TAG Heuer Carrera’s “Success Watch” status came with the launch of the TAG Heuer Carrera reference 1158 in 1970. Introduced to celebrate Heuer’s listing on the Swiss stock exchange, this watch would be worn by members of the Heuer family, including Jack Heuer himself. What followed was a period of great success for the brand, highlighted by a timing deal with Ferrari in 1971 – a partnership that ultimately saw Niki Lauda crowned Formula 1 World Champion in 1975. The TAG Heuer Carrera’s fortune-infused journey continued as these watches were seen on the wrists of racing greats. In 1971, legendary driver Mario Andretti received his own gold Heuer Carrera. The following year, as if imbued with the watch’s winning spirit, Ferrari dominated the 1972 World Sportscar Championship, with Andretti securing victories at Daytona, Sebring, Brands Hatch, and Watkins Glen. The TAG Heuer Carrera became an emblem of triumph, an unspoken token of luck for those who wore it.

Throughout the golden era of Formula 1, as drivers crossed the finish line to the roar of the crowd, they were adorned a crown of laurels — a timeless symbol of victory and excellence — and the TAG Heuer Carrera was a defining part of these memorable moments, gracing the wrists of champions. Swedish Formula 1 legend Ronnie Peterson, the “SuperSwede,” and modern-day champion Max Verstappen are also among the extraordinary athletes who have cemented the connection between the TAG Heuer Carrera and the world of motor racing. Seen wearing TAG Heuer watches during their victories, they further represented the TAG Heuer Carrera’s legacy as a symbol of precision, achievement, and triumph. Now, in 2025, TAG Heuer continues to honor this rich heritage b y celebrating the TAG Heuer Carrera’s deep connection to motor racing’s historical moments with the TAG Heuer Carrera Day-Date. Building on its storied past, the collection reflects the spirit of success and surpassinh one’s limits that has defined the TAG Heuer Carrera for generations.

A Collection for Every Taste and Occasion

The new TAG Heuer Carrera Day-Date collection has been designed with versatility and individuality in mind. With six models featuring distinct dials, materials, and straps, TAG Heuer ensures there is a TAG Heuer Carrera Day-Date for every occasion and preference. Bold colors, refined finishes, or practical functionality, the collection offers a watch that speaks to everyone while remaining rooted in the timeless DNA of the TAG Heuer Carrera. The dials give each piece of the collection its own unique personality. The signature TAG Heuer Carrera blue model features a sunray-brushed finish that exudes classic elegance, while the smokey red opaline dial adds a sophisticated, more modern touch. For those who favor understated refinement, the black opaline dial is an elegant choice offered in steel bracelet and an alternative steel and 18K 5N rose gold fine brushed bracelet configuration. Adding further versatility, the collection includes a black grained dial model, distinguished by its striking red lacquered central hand and vivid touches of blue on the dial, bringing sporty and dynamic elements. Carefully chosen details such as rhodium-plated o r 18K 5N rose gold plated hands and indexes elevate the aesthetics.

Particularly noteworthy is the TAG Heuer Carrera Date Twin-Time, which takes center stage. The teal—a hue inspired by the racing livery of motorsport’s golden age – sunray-brushed dial is complemented by a two-tone flange in teal and silver, creating a n immediate visual impact. The red-tipped GMT hand – inspired by the TAG Heuer Carrera GMT from the brand’s heritage – is a discreet nod to connoisseurs, its shape subtly echoing the precision of watchmaking  tools like the watchmaker’s tweezers. Paired with rhodium-plated Arabic numerals, it adds a layer of functionality, making this watch a sophisticated and practical choice for global travelers.

Precision and Comfort on a Wrist

While the TAG Heuer Carrera Day-Date’s silhouette remains instantly recognizable, TAG Heuer has introduced subtle yet impactful enhancements. The three-dimensional dial design has been meticulously crafted, with each detail enhancing readability, such as the larger, more spaced-out markings, all while maintaining a stylish look. The day-date function is central to this timepiece and on certain watches, the tone-on-tone date disk is seamlessly integrated into the dial, with a triangular highlighter adding a playful touch of modernity.

TAG Heuer has also focused on wearability, rethinking the bracelet and strap options to align with contemporary needs. The steel bracelet now has a new quick-change link system. It will allow wearers to adjust the size effortlessly at home, without the need for tools. This user-friendly feature, combined with the bracelet’s tapered, flexible design, ensures that it is both practical and elegant. Meanwhile, the leather strap on the black fine grained dial timepiece has been given a fresh definition, with visible light blue linings along the sides that add a subtle but impactful visual signature.

The TAG Heuer Carrera Date Twin-Time will come with the steel iconic TAG Heuer Carrera H bracelet, with the new easy link change system and double folding clasp.

The Mechanics Behind the Watch

The new TAG Heuer Carrera Day-Date is powered by the manufacture movement TH31. The TH31-02 and the TH31-03 (for the Twin-Time), co-developed with AMT and produced exclusively for TAG Heuer, deliver an impressive 80-hour power reserve, and come with a five – year extended warranty. They also feature high-end finishings, including a shield-shaped oscillating mass visible through the caseback, adding an extra layer of craftsmanship for collectors and enthusiasts. Maintaining the comfort and wearability that have made the TAG Heuer Carrera a perennial favorite, the bezel geometry has been updated for a thinner, more refined shape, resulting in a wider crystal opening that enriches the dial’s overall presence for an increased legibility. The dial construction has also been reimagined, with a three-dimensional aspect inspired by the TAG Heuer Carrera Glassbox. This gives the watch a greater sense of depth and balance while improving legibility.

The Victory Wreath engraving on the caseback is a subtle yet meaningful addition, linking each TAG Heuer Carrera Day-Date to the collection’s racing history while also serving as a token of luck for its wearer. This symbol of success and accomplishment connects the watch to the achievements of the past, offering wearers a tangible reminder of the TAG Heuer Carrera’s mixed with a subtle success watch for their journey. The TAG Heuer Carrera Day-Date stands as a timeless reminder of triumph, precision, and excellence-qualities that have defined the TAG Heuer name for generations. From the crown of laurels of racing’s golden era to the bold reinvention of this iconic timepiece, it celebrates achievements.

Now, as it evolves for a new era, one question remains: WHOSE NEXT VICTORY WILL IT WITNESS?

Inspired by the iconic Oracle Red Bull Racing livery, the watch features a high-contrast mix of dark blue, yellow, and the unmistakable red. The vivid and bold colors make this chronograph stand out, ensuring that it is as eye-catching and striking as it is functional.

The bezel, crafted from steel with an aluminum insert, adds another layer of sportiness to the design. Its construction allows for a variety of color combinations, all of which are inspired by Oracle Red Bull Racing’s dynamic livery. It is a subtle nod to the Team’s constant pursuit of excellence, ensuring that the timepiece is versatile and stylish.

The caseback continues the celebration of Oracle Red Bull Racing. Engraved with the 20th season and Team logos, it serves as a reminder of the incredible journey of Oracle Red Bull Racing over the past two decades. It is a perfect engraved reminder of all the victories and milestones that have defined the partnership between Oracle Red Bull Racing and TAG Heuer.

Limited to just 3’000 pieces – a limitation engraved on the caseback: “ONE OF 3000” – the watch comes with a blue rubber strap, meticulously designed for comfort, style, and performance.

Featuring the 20th season logo and the vibrant colors of Oracle Red Bull Racing, the packaging is as bold and dynamic as the timepiece itself.

Aligning with the anniversary of Oracle Red Bull Racing, TAG Heuer also congratulates Max Verstappen, who won the 2024 Formula 1 World Drivers’ Championship with an extraordinary season, for the fourth year in a row. Verstappen’s dominance on the track, securing 9 victories, totaling 429 points so far this season, represents the unstoppable quest of excellence and precision shared by both the Team and TAG Heuer. Verstappen’s incredible success reflects the same cutting-edge innovation and commitment to pushing limits that shine through the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph x Oracle Red Bull

This limited-edition TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph x Oracle Red Bull Racing stands as a fitting tribute to two decades of success and innovation and an incredible victory, powered by the relentless quest to push the limits. 30 YEARS LATER: THE LEGEND CONTINUES

TAG Heuer and Senna Brand celebrate Ayrton Senna with an exclusive limited edition tourbillon timepiece.

The extraordinary life and career of legendary Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna will be brought to life in the new Netflix series Senna premiering on November 29, 2024. As part of this commemoration, Swiss luxury timekeeper TAG Heuer, in collaboration with the Senna Brand, proudly launches the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Senna, a timepiece dedicated to Senna’s legendary prowess and honoring the 30th anniversary of his legacy.

A Prowess to Relive on the Screen

Considered as one of the best drivers of all time, Ayrton Senna embodies the quest for excellence and performance. Thirty years after his passing, he continues to be one of the most iconic and recognized drivers in the world of motor racing. Fast, brilliant, and fearless, the Brazilian driver never stopped pushing himself beyond the limit.

As part of the celebration moment, Ayrton Senna is portrayed in the first fiction series ever. The six-episode Netflix series, starring TAG Heuer ambassador Gabriel Leone as Senna, offers a profound exploration of his journey from his early days in Brazil to his rise as one of Formula 1’s greatest drivers. Developed and produced with the support of Senna’s family, the series captures his biggest driving achievements, personal struggles, and relationships, concluding with the tragic accident at the San Marino Grand Prix.

The series also features heritage watches such as the TAG Heuer Senna S/EL Link Chronograph S25.706C, as part of the character’s wardrobe highlighting the continued relevance of Senna’s style and to ensure historical accuracy.

In conjunction with the series, TAG Heuer, in collaboration with the Senna Brand, proudly announces the release of the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Senna, a dedication to the accomplishment of the driver whose name keeps on living.

The Story Between a Watch Manufacturer and a Driver

The collaboration between TAG Heuer and Ayrton Senna started in 1988, and, over the course of his career, the long-standing TAG Heuer ambassador redefined the word “drive” by breaking many records. At the time, the Brazilian dominated Formula 1, becoming World Champion in 1988, 1989 and 1991.

Reflecting on this history, TAG Heuer has since introduced numerous references that celebrate Senna’s legacy, including two chronograph tourbillons releases within the Carrera collection in 2018 and 2019. These timepieces have captured the hearts of collectors and motorsport enthusiasts alike.

To pay tribute to Ayrton’s talent, TAG Heuer continues its quest to create the perfect watch, one that the legendary driver would have loved to wear on his wrist. With its bold design, the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Senna perfectly illustrates TAG Heuer’s continued admiration of the illustrious driver and celebrates his lasting influence on the sport.

Designed with meticulous attention to detail, the watch incorporates elements that reflect Senna’s spirit and achievements. The carbon bezel, inscribed with “Senna” and a tachymeter scale reaching up to 400 km/h, symbolizes the speed and precision that defined Senna’s career. The nine o’clock subdial prominently features Senna’s branding, a subtle yet powerful nod to the legendary driver, while the counter appears in a bold yellow, akin to the one of the Senna logo.

The skeleton dial, reworked with multiple finishes and incorporating a checkered flag motif, represents Senna’s victorious spirit. The case, crafted from grade-2 titanium, contains sharp, dynamic lugs with vertical brushing and sandblasted rims, creating a three-dimensional architectural profile that speaks to the sophistication and elegance of high-end watchmaking.

Turning the watch over, the 44mm caseback reveals an iconic image of Senna with his helmet, provided by the Senna Brand. This image, coupled with limited edition markings denoting only 500 pieces, underscores the exclusivity and high demand for this exceptional timepiece. The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Senna also includes a high-quality blue rubber strap, ensuring both durability and comfort, making it a fitting compliment to Senna’s relentless pursuit of perfection.

This limited edition is expected to captivate collectors and enthusiasts worldwide, not only for its aesthetic and technical prowess but also for its deep connection to Senna’s legacy.

The launch event of the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Senna is honoring Ayrton Senna while celebrating his enduring legacy in the world of motorsport in his beloved Brazil. Actor and TAG Heuer ambassador Gabriel Leone wore the limited edition watch, adding a genuine touch to this heartfelt tribute. “Ayrton Senna has marked us all at TAG Heuer and has marked the world of motorsports, both on the track and in life. With the launch of the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Senna, we celebrate his enduring spirit and inspire future generations of champions just as he inspired us. This timepiece embodies the passion and precision that defined his remarkable journey.” said Antoine Pin, CEO of TAG Heuer.

ONE WATCH, THREE LEGENDS: TAG HEUER, PORSCHE AND THE CARRERA PANAMERICANA

TAG Heuer and Porsche launch the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Porsche Panamericana together, a watch that represents the spirit of a race and the vision of a man.

Speed, heritage, precision, and the relentless pursuit of excellence, all synonymous with TAG Heuer, Porsche and the Carrera Panamericana race – and they are the hallmarks represented in the new TAG Heuer creation. The Swiss luxury watchmaker is thrilled to introduce the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Porsche Panamericana. This exclusive timepiece, limited to 255 pieces, captures the rich history of both TAG Heuer and Porsche, who are collaborating once again in what is the most authentic partnership between a watchmaker and a car manufacturer. This extraordinary watch reflects the shared heritage of both brands, rooted in the legendary Carrera Panamericana, and celebrates the 70th anniversary of Porsche’s victories there. Indeed, during the 1954 edition of the Carrera Panamericana, the Porsche 550 Spyder triumphed by coming first & second in the under 1500cc sports car class and third & fourth in the race overall.

The Raging Sound of The Carrera Panamericana

The Carrera Panamericana, known for its perilous yet thrilling course, has been a legendary cross-country rally in the motorsport universe since its inception in 1950. Spanning over 3,000 kilometers from the northern to the southern borders of Mexico, it quickly earned a reputation for pushing both drivers and their machines to their absolute limits. The Carrera Panamericana was a grueling test of speed, endurance, and skill, with competitors racing at an average speed exceeding 150 km/h through harsh terrains and extreme temperatures. Despite its cancellation after only five editions due to safety concerns, the race left a mark, inspiring countless stories and legends that continue to resonate to this day.

Porsche’s involvement in the Carrera Panamericana is a significant chapter in this storied history. In 1954, the Porsche 550 Spyder, driven by Hans Herrmann, clinched a class victory in this daunting race. This triumph lay the foundation of Porsche’s prowess in endurance racing and solidified its reputation for engineering superiority. The 550 Spyder, with its sleek design and advanced double overhead-cam engine, became an icon of automotive innovation and performance.

In 1962, Jack Heuer was inspired by tales of the Carrera Panamericana race’s danger and excitement, shared with him by the parents of Mexican racing legends Pedro and Ricardo Rodríguez. This fascination led him to create a chronograph named the Heuer Carrera, a name that perfectly captured the spirit of adventure, precision, and the constant pursuit of excellence. Introduced in 1963, the first Heuer Carrera chronograph presented a clean, uncluttered dial designed for easy readability at high speeds, personifying TAG Heuer’s commitment to functionality and elegance. Celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2023, the TAG Heuer Carrera watch has cemented its standing as one of the most iconic and innovative wristwatches.

An Unstoppable Duo

Fast forward 36 years since the 1988 relaunch of the race, which is still ongoing today, the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Porsche Panamericana continues this legacy of excellence and innovation. Launched for the Carrera Panamericana race, this timepiece celebrates history and the powerful partnership between TAG Heuer and Porsche, much to the delight of TAG Heuer and Porsche fans and watch aficionados.
The new TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Porsche Panamericana’s design draws direct inspiration from the iconic Porsche 550 Spyder racecar. The skeleton dial, with its elaborate details, mirrors the wheels of the 550 Spyder, while the color scheme — silver, yellow, and black are directly drawn from the original vehicle’s livery. The yellow lacquered hand and subdial hands represent an extra added distinctive sporting touch in the watch.

The shimmery effect on the dial plate and subdials evokes the 550 Spyder’s bodywork, and the grained effect on the skeleton dial – whose shape is inspired by the 550’s racing wheels – symbolizes the asphalt texture of the road, adding a sporty and racing touch. Through the dial, the snail-brushed movement plate finish is visible, marrying technical savoir-faire with timekeeping beauty.

The 42mm watch’s construction features a stainless steel case with fine-brushed and polished alternating finishes, and an engraved “Spyder” logo on the side, resonant of the original font used by Porsche in the 1950s. The curved flange is adorned with the Porsche logo, and the “Panamericana” marking at six o’clock on the dial is a hint to the legendary race.

The timepiece boasts a domed sapphire Glassbox crystal paying homage to similarly domed hesalite crystal designs from the 1970s. Reengineered to have a curve that flows seamlessly over the flange, it runs along the edge of the dial, blending into the case. This innovative design offers an easy reading of the indications on the dial, perfect for any racer on the most demanding roads.

The black perforated calfskin leather strap, with a yellow lining and stitching, adds a subtle sportiness and vintage charm, further enhancing its appeal. The strap’s visible lining on the side is a novel design element that enhances the watch’s athletic aesthetic.

At the heart of this masterpiece is the TH20-09 in-house tourbillon movement, offering a 65-hour power reserve for ultimate precision. The Porsche steering wheel mass – which can be seen in all of the past TAG Heuer x Porsche watches – visible through the sapphire caseback, serves as a unique
tribute to the automotive inspiration behind this timepiece.

Limited to just 255 pieces, this edition is a nod to the number “55”, which decorated the Porsche 550 Spyder during its victorious run in the 1954 Carrera Panamericana. Each watch is individually numbered and features a special engraving “LIMITED EDITION” that highlights its exclusivity.

The luxurious packaging, crafted from lacquered wood in black with personalization in the yellow Pantone of the piece, adds an extra layer of sophistication and exclusivity to the piece.

As was the case in 2023, Porsche and TAG Heuer will again present a unique one-off Porsche car, to celebrate both marques’ relationship with the Carrera Panamericana, to be revealed during the race’s stint in Mexico City.

The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Porsche Panamericana testifies to the strong three-way link between TAG Heuer, Porsche, and the Carrera Panamericana race. This collaboration celebrates a common and shared history as well as a joint passion for adrenaline and innovation.
By drawing inspiration from the past and reinterpreting it through modern design, TAG Heuer and Porsche continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in both watchmaking and motorsport for the future.

TAG HEUER ENTERS ITS NEW RACING CHAPTER WITH THE TAG HEUER MONACO CHRONOGRAPH RACING GREEN

The Swiss luxury watchmaker is pleased to introduce the TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph Racing Green, a continuous representation of the racing heritage of TAG Heuer, and a second chapter in the Racing Monaco story. The new TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph Racing Green joins the TAG Heuer Monaco collection as a celebration of the racing cars and their iconic liveries, this time honoring the British colors.

The Racing Spirit of the TAG Heuer Monaco

TAG Heuer has always been among the timekeepers most closely associated with racing, and the TAG Heuer Monaco collection is an embodiment of this ideal. When the brand introduced the model in 1969, it revolutionized the watchmaking industry. Unlike any other watch on the market, the timepiece featured the first square-cased water-resistant chronograph which housed the revolutionary Calibre 11 movement. More than a bold design statement – the TAG Heuer Monaco was named after the legendary principality that hosts one of Formula 1’s most renowned races. This relationship has held a special place in the brand’s heart and history and remains a significant aspect of TAG Heuer’s identity to this day.

To many, the TAG Heuer Monaco will always be associated with one of the greatest actors of his generation, Steve McQueen. In 1970, while filming the movie Le Mans, the Hollywood superstar chose to wear the same racing suit and watch brand as professional driver and personal trainer, Jo Siffert. By doing so, McQueen aimed to embody the role of an authentic racing driver, and quickly became a style icon in his own right, proudly sporting a Heuer Monaco timepiece.

Over the years, the TAG Heuer Monaco has continued to evolve, incorporating new materials, technologies, and design elements that make it a true work of art, swiftly becoming a symbol of the brand’s avant-garde spirit. This latest version, the TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph Racing Green, is no exception, as it continues to pay homage to the incredible racing heritage and the indelible mark that the Maison has left on the discipline following its Racing Blue peer from 2023.

Racing’s Best Companion

With its iconic TAG Heuer Monaco, the brand has continuously been drawing a line through decades of history connecting the Maison to the world of motorsport. From the early 20th century to the 1960s, racing drivers competed with car liveries specific to their country, rather than to the manufacturer or sponsors. Each country had its own dedicated color: the vibrant Italian red, Germany’s initial use of white before transitioning to silver, and the unmistakable shade of blue associated with the French, featured last year on the Monaco Chronograph Racing Blue. For this new chapter, it is the renowned British racing green that serves as the inspiration for the brand’s latest creation, the TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph Racing Green.

Racing green, a recognizable shade associated with British motorsports, has a storied history. The first noted car in this color palette was a Napier 50 that won the 1902 Gordon Bennett Cup under Selwyn Edge, leading to the 1903 event being hosted by Great Britain. Modern British racing teams and distinguished car manufacturers continue to use variations of this shade, making it a celebrated color in the world of motorsports and the inspiration for this year’s timepiece.

Every element of the TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph Racing Green is inspired by historical British racing cars and their white and yellow touches. To echo this theme, the watch boasts a silver sunray-brushed dial for a timeless and elegant look, a subtle reminder of the engine-turned dashboards seen in sports cars of the 1920’s and 1930’s.

The dial is adorned with eight applied, polished and silvered hour markers as well as 12 light green Super- LumiNova® dot markers, facilitating effortless time reading. Notably, a faceted baton marker at 12 o’clock features a vibrant yellow stripe, serving as a direct connection to the chronograph’s yellow central hand and the touches of yellow on these celebrated race cars.

The elegant green subdials feature a vibrant yet sophisticated shade and honor the traditional racing green.

Heritage is also inherent to the watch which features the historic Heuer logo, set to appeal to collectors and watch aficionados alike. In true Monaco DNA, the crown is placed at 9 o’clock, as it was initiated in 1969.

The watch is powered by the automatic chronograph Calibre 11, encased within a sandblasted grade-2 titanium case, allowing for both robustness and lightness, perfect for a sporty feel, and featuring a sapphire caseback, offering a glimpse into the movement inside.

The TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph Racing Green is fitted with a green perforated strap, for classic British gentleman aesthetics. The strap is secured with a titanium folding clasp, featuring the Heuer logo.

The TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph Racing Green is a limited edition, its caseback bearing the engraving “ONE OF 1000”. It is presented in a custom- designed black packaging with vivid yellow details.

The perfect watch for the perfect gentleman driver.

TAG HEUER CARRERA CHRONOGRAPH SEAFARER x HODINKEE

Hodinkee, the leading destination for all things watches and horology, has partnered with luxury watch manufacturer TAG Heuer for their third collaboration. Together, they announce the launch of the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Seafarer × Hodinkee.

The past collaborations with TAG Heuer, the Carrera Skipper and Carrera Dato, were homages to the history of TAG Heuer. With each of those collaborations, Hodinkee didn’t set out to reproduce the original, but rather to move it forward. The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Seafarer x Hodinkee is no different, designed as a revival of the iconic Abercrombie & Fitch Seafarer, which Heuer produced for the sporting goods retailer from the 1950s into the 1970s. A thoroughly modern Carrera, but updated for today’s adventures with the design ethos of one of Hodinkee’s very favorite and most notable vintage Heuer references. Maintaining the color codes and bezel aesthetic from the 1968 model, this collaboration thoroughly embraces the modern spirit of TAG Heuer. The Seafarer is a legendary watch with roots in the mid-century and is a reference that is reminiscent of a playful and sun-soaked era in watchmaking—one in which watches were being put to the test, worn hard, and often designed and used for specific pursuits. The Seafarer evokes images of the sea, the sand, and the sun and brings to mind the name Abercrombie & Fitch.

The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Seafarer × Hodinkee is a modern, robust, and exciting interpretation of a favorite Seafarer reference. The Hodinkee Limited Edition now resides in the 42mm Carrera “Glassbox” case. The domed sapphire crystal allows for the profile of a vintage plexiglass crystal while being significantly more durable and clearer – both critical factors while out on the water. True to the color codes of the original, the black opaline dial is accented by shades of both sky and royal blue across the Regatta and Tide subdials. As the Carrera is a bezel-less case, the watch has maintained the original’s aesthetic by moving the bezel inside the rehaut in a matching black opaline.

Looking a bit closer, the Seafarer logo was relocated to the sub-register at 6, leveraging a Carrera font inspired by the late reference’s characterful blocky type. The brands kept the feeling of the late Reference 2446C Seafarer but made a conscious decision to look to the future of TAG Heuer with the present-day TAG Heuer and Carrera logos at 12 o’clock. Consistent with all models of the heritage Seafarer, the usual date window from the Carreras you see today was also removed, and the watch is fitted to a black textured rubber strap, making it fit for life at sea.
This watch is truly the embodiment of everything to love about TAG Heuer – past and present. In celebration of 1968, when Heuer introduced the

Reference 2446C Seafarer, Hodinkee produced 968 pieces of the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Seafarer × Hodinkee. As with the last two Hodinkee x TAG Heuer collaborations, 125 pieces will be sold by Hodinkee in the Hodinkee Shop. The remaining pieces will be available via TAG Heuer at boutiques and retailers worldwide. The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Seafarer × Hodinkee will retail for $7,950.

“The story of the Seafarer captures so much that makes watchmaking exciting: technical innovation, design, collaboration, and a chance to understand how business was conducted in the mid-20th century,” said Nicholas Biebuyck, Heritage Director at TAG Heuer. “America was the key market during the period and thanks to the friendship between Walter Haynes, President of Abercrombie & Fitch, and the Heuer family, not only did this great innovation come into the world, but it helped Heuer build its incredible reputation for timekeeping excellence in a region that would become vital to its future. Given that it was a US retailer who launched the Seafarer originally, it made perfect sense to debut this piece
with our great friends at Hodinkee for our limited edition together.”

“TAG Heuer is one of Hodinkee’s first partners, and we don’t take that lightly,” said Jeff Hilliard, Sr. Director of Limited Editions at Hodinkee. “For our third Limited Edition collaboration with them, we wanted to do something special. But when we asked them to bring back the tide complication, we figured it was a longshot, since we knew there would be significant research and development that was involved. To our surprise, they agreed to the concept, and we are super excited to bring a piece of TAG Heuer’s incredible history back to the forefront using the incredible glassbox chronograph.”

ENDURING TIME: CARRERA CHRONOGRAPH X PORSCHE 963

TAG HEUER UNVEILS THE TAG HEUER CARRERA CHRONOGRAPH X PORSCHE 963,
A TIMEPIECE THAT BRIDGES MOTORSPORT LEGACY AND INNOVATION

TAG Heuer, the renowned Swiss luxury watchmaker, is thrilled to introduce the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x Porsche 963, a captivating timepiece that celebrates the spirit of endurance racing and technological innovation. This exclusive collaboration with Porsche represents a unique bond rooted in motorsport heritage and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

TAG Heuer and Porsche share a rich history, an independent and powerful mindset, and a dedication to functional design. For around 70 years, their paths have been meeting and intertwining on and off the racetrack. The solid and lasting bond between TAG Heuer and Porsche comes from their joint roots in motorsports, with a common thread being the
Carrera name itself.

Its origins begin at the legendary Carrera Panamericana race, reputed to be one of the most dangerous in the world. It inspired Porsche, which won its first-class victory at the Carrera Panamericana race in 1954, to name its most powerful engine variants Carrera. At the same time, Jack Heuer, chose to name his new 1963 chronograph Carrera, after hearing about the race’s highly evocative name from the racing driver Rodriguez brothers at the side of the infamous US racetrack Sebring in 1962.

Of course, another race with which both TAG Heuer and Porsche are historically connected is the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Let the Race Begin

Porsche’s history at Le Mans is legendary, having secured numerous victories over the years, making them the most successful manufacturer in the history of the race with 19 overall wins. The development of the Porsche 963, governed by the LMDh (Le Mans Daytona Hybrid) regulations, demonstrates this commitment to innovation. The Porsche 963 is the pinnacle of Porsche’s engineering expertise, based on a Multimatic* chassis derived from the LMP2 category – a second edition Le Mans Prototype developed and designed to compete at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It features an advanced combustion engine able to run on renewable fuels, with its origins in the Porsche 918 Spyder road car. The Porsche 963 has been gathering victories on many famous racetracks across the globe.

To celebrate the allure of endurance racing, its history and prowess, TAG Heuer has launched a timepiece – the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x Porsche 963 – that embodies this drive for excellence.

“In celebration of Porsche’s racing successes, we are extremely proud to have worked on such a timepiece with our partner. The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x Porsche 963 is an exceptional horological piece that represents all the values we stand for: design excellence, endurance, and the surpassing of one’s limits. We particularly look forward to Porsche’s performance this year and wish all the best to the Porsche team on the racetracks” said Julien Tornare, CEO of TAG Heuer.

Design and Engineering Excellence

The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x Porsche 963 is a remarkable timepiece inspired by the Porsche 963. Limited to just 963 pieces worldwide – a nod to the name of the racing car -, each watch incorporates precision and performance, paying homage to Porsche’s racing heritage and dominance with elements that capture the excitement of endurance racing.

Blending automotive engineering with horology, the sub-dials feature four Super- LumiNova (SLN) blocks, drawing inspiration from Porsche’s innovative LED light design on the modern-day icon, the Porsche 911. In the dark, the SLN blocks on the dial, along with the SLN-coated date revealer, illuminate the Porsche-inspired design elements, enhancing the watch’s visual appeal and practicality. These elements ensure exceptional legibility in all conditions, resonating with the endurance of 24- hour races, as drivers will be racing day and night.

The positioning of the red indexes at 04:00PM on the dial symbolizes the excitement and adrenaline associated with the countdown to a race start, capturing the essence of competitive racing within the watch’s design language.

Crafted with boldness and technical sophistication, the watch features a striking skeleton dial with tubular shapes reminiscent of Porsche’s racing car chassis— reflecting the minimalist yet robust construction seen in motorsport. The bezel, made from forged carbon, mirrors the lightweight, high-performance components of the Porsche 963, enhancing both aesthetics and the connection to motorsport.

High craftsmanship is evident with the in-house TH20-00 movement, featuring a personalized red column wheel, emphasizing the technical savoir faire of this vertical clutch chronograph movement. The vertical position of the chronograph mechanism’s coupling, similar to the systems found in cars connecting the engine’s flywheel with the transmission, in the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x Porsche 963 provides for a smooth and “jump free“ actuation of the stopping function.

The watch’s rubber strap shape is inspired by the NACA-style low-drag air inlets, often featured on Porsche race cars all the way back to the record-breaking Porsche 917, adding a further subtle nod to the deep shared heritage in endurance racing. The colors chosen for the watch are the iconic racing colours of Porsche motorsport: white, red and black.

Distinctive Porsche Elements

TAG Heuer has integrated several distinctive Porsche elements into the design of the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x Porsche 963, which will delight Porsche fans. The bezel proudly features a luminescent Porsche logo, allowing for legibility even in the dark, while the strap decor showcases the Porsche 963 logo. Additionally, the watch incorporates Porsche’s iconic steering wheel motif in the oscillating mass, and a Porsche logo in 3D on the side of the steel case, underscoring the integration of the car manufacturer inspired details.

Each TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x Porsche 963 is individually numbered XXX/963 and is presented in a dedicated packaging, complete with a travel pouch and a mention of its limited-edition status.

As TAG Heuer and Porsche continue to strengthen their partnership, which stands as one of the most authentic alliances between a car manufacturer and a watchmaker, the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x Porsche 963 is the perfect testament to the spirit of endurance racing and the pursuit of perfection shared by Porsche and TAG Heuer.

Race fans, start your engines!

TAG HEUER FORMULA 1 | KITH

THE REVIVAL OF THE “CULTURE-DEFINING” WATCH WITH A BRAND NEW COLLAB

Since its original release in 1986, the first series of TAG Heuer’s Formula 1 has been a trailblazer. It was the very first timepiece that bore the TAG Heuer name. The watch’s striking colours and daring design made it a favourite first watch among those who would go on to become diehard collectors, which was precisely the case for Kith founder Ronnie Fieg. Today, the Swiss watchmaker is bringing the piece back with the singular lifestyle brand Kith in new, upgraded materials.

TAG Heuer and Kith are leaders in their respective spaces and have made outsized contributions to culture at large. TAG Heuer is best known for
supplying precision-engineered timing instruments for the most storied motorsports events and racers in history. Whereas Kith has become a fashion stalwart and regarded for its disruptive approach. Today, this duo is embarking on a cutting-edge collaboration to reintroduce the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Series 1 originally released in 1986. The new collection of timepieces features the beloved TAG Heuer Formula 1 in 10 bold colour was inspired by standout models from TAG Heuer’s past. Alongside Kith, TAG Heuer is reintroducing an ‘80s icon built on strong design codes and standout colours, values Fieg is consistently inspired by as a designer.

A Treasured Design

There is something special about the first. That’s especially true when it comes to first love. And for so many collectors all around the world, TAG Heuer’s Series 1 was that first love. It was the timepiece that kicked off a love affair with collecting. That’s the story behind TAG Heuer’s collaboration with Kith, whose founder Ronnie Fieg started with a red-and-black TAG Heuer Formula 1 and has since become an ardent collector of prestigious vintage watches. For many this love started when the original TAG Heuer Formula 1 was released in 1986— the very first watch to bear the TAG Heuer name. It was the very first Swiss timepiece for many collectors who were enamoured with its forward-thinking design and electrifying colourways. In recent years, it has become one of the hottest vintage watches in the world, with admirers flocking to secondary sites to recapture a piece that looks just as fashionable today as it did almost 40 years ago.

This TAG Heuer watch was so effective at drawing collectors into the world because it was the very first watch to enable a generation to assert their taste and individuality with a timepiece. The TAG Heuer Formula 1 was the first premium composite quartz watch, drawing collectors deeper into this world with every tick. Just like the original did in 1986, this latest timepiece marks TAG Heuer’s undeniable position as a cultural powerhouse. The new TAG Heuer Formula 1 | Kith stirs up the nostalgia of this era while updating it for modern times through the colours, partnership, and 35-millimetre size.

“The rebirth of the original TAG Heuer Formula 1 watch is something the collector community has been clamouring after for years. One of these collectors was Kith founder Ronnie Fieg, who shared that, like so many others, this was also his first watch when he was younger. It is one of the most meaningful pieces in TAG Heuer’s history. The first to wear the TAG Heuer name, it introduced a generation of collectors to our commitment to making premium timepieces at the intersection of culture and motorsports,” said Julien Tornare, the CEO of TAG Heuer.

Revitalizing the Cherished Model for 2024

The TAG Heuer Formula 1 | Kith maintains what makes the original beloved while bringing it into 2024 and updating it with upgraded materials. First, though, it was critical for these new iterations to keep the original spirit of the watch. The original supplier of case was tracked down along with the very same mold that was used for the pieces made in 1986. That means the identity of the watch is inextricable from the piece collectors fell in love with decades ago.

The new story of the TAG Heuer Formula 1| Kith is told through elegant tweaks to this classic model. While the original watch featured a plastic crystal, this updated model features sapphire. The strap also gets an upgrade from plastic to rubber. Kith’s Fieg contributed to many of the details that reestablish this watch as a fashion powerhouse. TAG Heuer and Kith worked together to select many of the striking and exotic colour combinations.

In a groundbreaking move, for the first time in TAG Heuer’s illustrious history, the luxury Swiss watchmaker is merging its logo with a collaborative partner. TAG Heuer Formula 1 | Kith features a reworked version of the insignia that combines Kith and Heuer on the dial, rubber strap, and caseback. The dial also includes Kith’s motto “Just Us,” a tribute to Fieg’s familial inner circle.

“It was an honor for me to be able to play a part in bringing TAG Heuer’s Formula 1 Series 1 back to life. The TAG Heuer Formula 1 Series 1 in red and black was my very first watch, the timepiece that helped me express the unique style that’s now manifested itself in Kith,” said Ronnie Fieg, Kith founder.

The Collection

The original Formula 1 was foundational to the success and longevity of TAG Heuer. Over three million pieces were produced, which have been equally admired by men and women over the decades. This new partnership maintains the exquisite variety—without the sheer volume—that made the watch such a fun and trend-setting accessory in the first place.

There are 10 new watches in total, in stainless steel bracelet edition or rubber bracelet edition. Seven watches are exclusive to Kith and each pays tribute to a store in its global network. These watches play with vibrant color: sports-car red; black-and-yellow; green, yellow, and red nods to the rare iteration from the ‘80s made in partnership with Japanese F1 driver Ukyo Katayama; cream; and matte black. These iterations are limited to 250 pieces each. Kith’s exclusive models also feature two with steel bracelets in blue-bezel and one in green. The pair is limited to 350 pieces each.

TAG Heuer boasts two exclusives, limited to 825 pieces each, of its own: each a shot of colour in vibrant blue and green to the bezel and strap with
black PVD case and a black dial. The first edition will launch in-store only in Miami on May 3rd followed by the global launch on May 6th.

A highlight of the collection is the shared model between TAG Heuer and Kith, limited to 1350 pieces. The classic black-bezel watch with its red accents is a lasting and undeniable combination. This model arrives on a steel bracelet with an eggshell dial that is reminiscent to the patinated versions of this model from 1986. The result isan exquisite combination of modern features with vintage aesthetic appeal.

The TAG Heuer Formula 1 | Kith remains faithful to the original, drawing elements from the colour combinations to the small details that defined the Series 1. These features include the original form hour hand, a triangle with a dot inside at 12 o’clock, indices that alternate every quarter between shields and dots, and a contrasting minuterie that packs a lot of delightful character into the dial.

Every TAG Heuer Formula 1 | Kith will be presented in a high-end box that evokes their colorful design and drives home the revived watch’s premium status. The most exceptional and desirable presentation of the collection will come in the form of a highly collectible box containing all 10 of the limited-edition watches. With the original TAG Heuer Formula 1, TAG Heuer helped countless collectors fall in love with watches. Now, they are invited to become infatuated with this distinctive, incredibly stylish model all over again.

TAG Heuer Unveils Dazzling Timepieces at LVMH Watch Week, Miami 2024

Innovative Collections from TAG Heuer Celebrate Heritage, Elegance, and Cutting-Edge Technology

The atmosphere at LVMH Watch Week, Miami, on January 29, 2024, was charged with excitement as TAG Heuer showcased groundbreaking additions to its iconic collections. From the rugged outdoors to the racetrack and now to the world of lab-grown diamonds, TAG Heuer once again asserted its position as a pioneer in the luxury watch industry. Let’s delve into the remarkable highlights of the event, featuring the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph, the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph, the TAG Heuer Carrera Date Plasma Diamant d’Avant-Garde, and the latest innovation, the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4.

TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph: A Journey Through Time

TAG Heuer unveiled its new Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph collection at LVMH Watch Week in Miami on January 29, 2024. Inspired by the Aquaracer series’ adventurous spirit since 1978, the collection introduces a fresh 34mm size lineup.

The 2022 Solargraph technology, initially in a 40mm carbon bezel model, expanded in 2023 with a titanium version. The 34mm size adds versatility while retaining key Aquaracer features: unidirectional rotating bezel, screw-down crown, 200-meter water resistance, luminous markings, sapphire crystal, and a double safety clasp.

The new collection includes five dials featuring iconic Polar Blue and signature blue dials. Mother-of-pearl dials are introduced, adapting to Solargraph’s semi-transparency requirement. Luxury models with diamonds on indexes and bezels offer an elegant departure from traditional Solargraph design, capturing the sparkle of snowfall.

While maintaining historical design elements, such as ergonomic riders, the collection introduces trapezoidal shapes for both riders and indexes. The trapezoidal design, combined with diamonds, adds a refined and feminine touch.

Equipped with a solar quartz movement (Calibre TH50-01), the series provides time, date, and second-hand functionalities. The design emphasizes ergonomics, adjusting lug-to-lug distance for a compact fit. The slim profile, with a case thickness of 9.5mm, ensures comfort and style for various wrist sizes.

TAG Heuer’s Solargraph movement eliminates the need for battery changes, relying on sunlight or artificial light for recharging. A two-minute exposure powers the watch for a day, with 10 months of autonomy after 40 hours in the sun. The efficient movement, developed with Manufacture La Joux-Perret, offers a 5-year extended warranty.

TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph: Racing into Elegance

TAG Heuer introduced two new Carrera Chronograph models, combining heritage and modernity in a captivating teal-green monochrome look. Inspired by the iconic DATO layout, these timepieces pay homage to TAG Heuer’s rich racing heritage while embracing a vibrant future.

The Carrera collection, dating back to 1963, evolved with the introduction of the Dato design in 1966, showcasing a date at the 9 o’clock position. The Carrera 45 Dato, with its mono subdial configuration, became a cherished collector’s piece. In 2021, a collaboration with Hodinkee led to a re-edition.

In 2023, TAG Heuer unveiled three Carrera Chronograph models, and in 2024, it introduced a green monochrome variant featuring a date at 9 o’clock. These additions continue the legacy of the Dato configuration, blending tradition and innovation.

The Carrera Chronograph masterfully combines vintage aesthetics with technical enhancements, featuring improved ergonomics, a curved flange, and a circular brushed finish on the dial. Crafted from steel, the watch includes rhodium-plated indexes, a teal green azuré mono subdial, and a domed sapphire Glassbox crystal for easy reading.

The open case back reveals TAG Heuer’s in-house movement, Heuer 02 (TH20-07), offering an 80-hour power reserve, bidirectional automatic winding, and a distinctive shield-shaped rotor. The watch comes on a high-end black alligator leather strap with a stainless-steel folding clasp.

The Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon, with a teal green circular brushed dial, features a Tourbillon cage at 6 o’clock within a glass frame. True to Carrera’s heritage, the watch retains the Glassbox design, ensuring readability from various angles. The movement, Heuer 02 (TH20-09), provides bidirectional automatic winding and comes with a five-year warranty.

Teal green becomes a defining colour for the Carrera collection, paying homage to motorsport history. This unique hue, introduced in 2021, now graces the Carrera Chronograph models in 2023 and 2024. Described as a harmonious blend of blue and green, teal green reflects TAG Heuer’s racing heritage, adding a fresh and dynamic dimension to the collection.

As the Carrera Chronographs evolve from 1963 to 2024, they symbolize TAG Heuer’s heritage, capturing the hearts of watch enthusiasts worldwide.

TAG Heuer Carrera Date Plasma Diamant d’Avant-Garde: A Diamond Revolution

The TAG Heuer Carrera Date Plasma Diamant d’Avant-Garde with yellow lab-grown diamonds, a groundbreaking timepiece featuring 4.8 carats of lab-grown diamonds, including 1.4 carats of yellow Diamant d’Avant-Garde. Following the success of the pink-diamond variant, this yellow addition showcases TAG Heuer’s commitment to innovation and diversity.

The avant-garde creation utilizes Plasma technology, enabling the delicate growth of lab-grown diamonds. This process introduces deliberate disorder to create coloured diamonds. The controlled disorder is executed through the Chemical Vapor Deposition process, ensuring uniform colour throughout the diamond’s structure. The yellow-diamond timepiece comes in white gold with a 36mm case, featuring a diamond crown and a polycrystalline dial with 2.9 carats of lab-grown diamonds.

The dial’s creative application of Plasma technology produces

breathtaking reflections, complemented by 12 white gold indexes set with baguette-cut lab-grown diamonds. The watch also includes a yellow lab-grown diamond in a shield cut at 12 o’clock. With a total of 4.8 carats of lab-grown diamonds, the timepiece comes on a white alligator strap with a white gold pin buckle, housing the TAG Heuer Calibre 7 Automatic, visible through the sapphire case back.

TAG Heuer once again showcases its innovative prowess at LVMH Watch Week, redefining sophistication and style in the world of lab-grown diamonds.

TAG Heuer Connected Watch Faces: Bridging Mechanical and Digital Realms

TAG Heuer also introduced transformative watch faces for the Connected Calibre E4, integrating iconic mechanical universes into connected timepieces. The initiative aims to infuse the spirit of TAG Heuer Carrera, Aquaracer, and Formula 1 into the digital experience.

Four distinct watch faces debuted at LVMH Watch Week, including Carrera models in teal green, black, green gold, and blue, inspired by the 60th anniversary of TAG Heuer Carrera. Solargraph watch face adapts to ambient light intensity, echoing Aquaracer Solargraph technology. Formula 1 watch faces replicate quartz chronograph counterparts in red, yellow, and green, blending tradition with innovation for racing enthusiasts.

Each watch face combines watchmaking charm with smart functionality, providing real-time data such as heart rate, weather updates, and moon phase details. This release marks the beginning of TAG Heuer’s ongoing innovation in luxury connected watches, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to blending traditional watchmaking with modern technology.

TAG HEUER ANNOUNCES NEW BRAND AMBASSADOR LIU HAORAN

Renowned Swiss luxury watchmaker TAG Heuer is thrilled to announce the addition of Liu Haoran as its newest brand ambassador. At just 26 years old, Liu Haoran has garnered widespread acclaim for his exceptional acting skills and distinctive style, making him a leading figure among the younger generation of Chinese actors.

From his role as the boy ‘Song Ge’ in the neighboring class in Beijing Love Story to the young detective ‘Qin Feng’ in Detective Chinatown, the entrepreneurial youth ‘Wei Jinbei’ in Coffee or tea? and the motorcycle racer ‘Wu Renyao’ in Only Fools Rush In, Liu Haoran crafted numerous impressive and iconic characters on the silver screen. Known for his casual yet confident demeanor, passion for sports, and relentless pursuit of excellence, Liu Haoran embodies traits that resonate with TAG Heuer’s values.

Liu Haoran’s connection with TAG Heuer may have been destined when he chose “Turbo” as his English name. The original meaning of Turbo refers to an essential component in high-performance engines, especially in racing cars. This choice serves as a clear testament to his passion for motorsports. TAG Heuer, with its 164-year history and heritage, has a deep connection with the world of racing. For decades, the brand has consistently supported some of the greatest F1 teams, legendary drivers, and iconic racetracks. Undoubtedly, this shared-passion struck a chord with Liu Haoran.

Expressing his thoughts on the collaboration, Liu Haoran said, “TAG Heuer has a rich heritage in watchmaking, consistently leading in innovation. Its connection to motorsports is also profoundly appealing to me. We share the same values, constantly challenging ourselves and pushing boundaries, making this collaboration with TAG Heuer a natural and exciting decision for me.”

In the first advertising campaign of the partnership, Liu Haoran is wearing the new TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Year of the Dragon. As the 2024 Chinese New Year approaches, TAG Heuer joins forces with the new brand ambassador from China to present this unique timepiece that combines the richness of Chinese culture and the brand’s racing DNA, symbolizing a new journey for the brand in China.

Launched in 1963, the TAG Heuer Carrera is a racing-inspired chronograph created by Jack Heuer and named after the Carrera Panamericana road race of the 1950s. Today, this iconic timepiece is recognized as a symbol of aspiration, achievement, and refined taste. Crafted in gold and steel, the TAG Heuer Carrera chronograph the Year of Dragon limited editions pay homage to the success embodied by the Chinese Dragon, which unmistakably parallels TAG Heuer’s Carrera success story. The steel version of the watch boasts a sunray-brushed silver dial while the gold version radiates with its sunraybrushed 18K 5N pink gold-plated dial. Both are adorned with rhodium-plated and 18K 5N pink gold plated indexes accentuated by a sumptuous red lacquer creating a harmonious blend. The distinct red “azuré” subdials at 3 and 9 o’clock add a captivating contrast with the dial, mirroring the emblematic reverse panda design.

The discreet yet significant calligraphic dragon character at 6 o’clock serves as an emblem of tradition but also exemplifies TAG Heuer’s commitment to honoring heritage within a contemporary design. The caseback design is fully customized to reveal a printed Chinese Dragon figure around the sapphire glass. Around it, are special engravings to indicate the watch’s limited release, “Limited Edition” along “One of 300” for the steel version and “One of 50” for the more exclusive 18K 5N pink gold version.

Embarking on the journey of a new year, the collaboration between TAG Heuer and Liu Haoran injects fresh vitality into the brand. More exciting moments will be unveiled in the near future, reflecting the pioneering spirit of breakthrough to a global audience.

Day 1 at Watches and Wonders 2023

What is everybody talking about?

Day 1 at Watches and Wonders, yes, that’s right!

The watch industry’s largest and most important trade show began with a bang. Geneva is witnessing the exhibition of the biggest and best watch brands, including some nascent brands, into the fold.

The following week will unveil novelties from Maisons that are coveted and greatly looked forward to. The design and innovations in this space are worth watching out for.

Stay with us for the latest updates on what’s happening at the most happening show.

We shall dive deeper and what better way than to start out with a mythical model?

Cartier Privé

We love the Tank models and every new addition to this collection is welcome. This year Cartier Privé dropped a limited edition timepiece its 7th opus: the Tank Normale.

Cyrus Geneve

CYRUS Genève is expanding the KLEPCYS GMT RETROGRADE collection and introducing two new versions, “Klepcys GMT Ocean Blue” & “Klepcys GMT Palm Green” with a 42 mm titanium case and the in-house CYR708 automatic calibre with a 55-hour power reserve.

These time instruments featuring a dual time function are designed to be “user-friendly” and intuitive.

Also, for the first time in a CYRUS collection, a metal bracelet is the new key feature of these creations for 2023. Both models are also available with a grey Cordura strap with a titanium folding clasp personalised with the Cyrus logo.

Grand Seiko

Evolution 9 Collection Tentagraph is the first mechanical novelty from Grand Seiko.

Exciting, new and a first, it is a sporty automatic high-beat chronograph. It is emblematic of the next-gen Grand Seiko sports watches for its technological innovation and equally stunning Evolution 9 Style.

Tag Heuer Carrera

From the short-lived yet mythical Carrera Panamericana race of the 1950s, the Carrera collection epitomises the relentless passion for the speed and precision of motor racing pilots. For its 60th anniversary in 2023, TAG Heuer is reinventing an icon. Imbued with unique novelties, all iterations express the legendary Carrera’s unstoppable drive for style and performance on the tracks.

The new TAG Heuer Carrera Tourbillon, a classic watch with an intense blue dial and orange highlights, is a complex technical gem – mastered by only an elite circle of watchmakers – bringing high accuracy to the chronometer-certified automatic TH20-09 movement, backed by 65 hours of power reserve. Ideal on the track.

Hautlence Linear Series

The Hautlence Linear Series 2, the latest addition to the Linear collection, has a new style of movement and design. Unveiled as ‘black is the new black’, the Linear Series 2 takes on darker tones to further highlight the kinetic elements in striking blue.

The full-black PVD-coated case with an integrated black strap makes the watch matte and modern, highlighting the elements of the striking blue hour’s hand, long arm and tourbillon bridge.

The signature TV-shaped case, its unique shape, and its linear retrograde jumping hours make the watch exciting and intriguing.

Louis Moinet – IMPULSION

The idea was to make the chronograph mechanism entirely visible on the dial side and then the magic of a tourbillon was added. This timepiece is bolder and original and thus, the naming of it, Impulsion, is apt and draws from its capacity to transfer energy to the chronograph and the tourbillon producing a show of spectacularity.

Pequignet Concorde Navy Blue

This deep blue model from the Concorde collection invites us to immerse ourselves in its dial. Its fascinating features include Luminova hour markers and a date aperture at 3 o’clock driven by the Calibre Initial. The Concorde has a steel bracelet that follows the architectural codes of the Place de la Concorde in Paris, namely its obelisk. It is available in 36mm and 40mm sizes to fit all wrist sizes.

Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF Minute Rattrapante

Tonda PF Minute Rattrapante, a new world première following on from Tonda PF GMT Rattrapante. After superimposed hours hands comes the turn of superimposed minutes hands! They sum up the brand’s approach: rethinking functionalities to adapt them to contemporary needs.

Wonderful Novelties at Watches and Wonders – Day 1

The excitement was palpable and there was a buzz in the city of Geneva which woke up to the first day of Watches and Wonders. This was the day everyone was looking forward to since 2020. The wonderful novelties that were unveiled at Watches and Wonders on day 1 were long awaited. The watch was on.

All the brands were eager to welcome trade partners and watch enthusiasts and the visitors were equally elated to see the wonderful novelties displayed in all their splendor. The fruit of the hard labor was ripe, and all the innovations were ready to see the lights.

The convention was kickstarted with a beautiful opening ceremony and several brands had keynote addresses. But the moment the novelties were unveiled the magic began.

The first day saw a mix of brands and here’s a rundown on day one at the most happening event.

Armin Strom: Orbit

What is unique about this spectacularly beautiful piece?

It is the world’s first watch with an on-demand date indicated on the bezel. The pusher at 10 when pushed shows the date on the bezel for a few seconds. The date hand when in the stationary mode, remains in its fixed position pointing at 12 o’clock.

Their signature bridges, hold the micro-rotor at the one o’clock position, and the equal force barrel at the 6 o’clock position. The watch comes with transparency that is unique in the watch industry highlighting the inner workings of mechanical watchmaking on the dial-side. It comes with an integrated bracelet and a contrasting ceramic bezel. A sport-chic watch that is flaunt-worthy.

Chopard: Alpine Eagle Flying Tourbillion

The Alpine Eagle flying tourbillion is a watch made in Lucent Steel making it 50% harder and more luminous. The well-highlighted flying tourbillon placed at 6 o’clock has no upper bridge and you can see right through to the movement.

The brushed dial starts at the tourbillion moving outwards. With an integrated bracelet, the watch is simple and yet a delightful piece.

Cartier: Tank Chinoise

A comeback after a century, in an art-deco design, rectangular and true to its vertical brancards design the Tank Chionese is as simple and elegant as they come. With two additional brancards across the top and bottom of the square case, it evokes the portico design.

In a beautifully polished gold case, its iconic design and shape with “chemin de fer” and the hidden Cartier signature it is a watch that puts geometry in fashion.

As part of the Cartier Privé collection, there are six models in this collection. Three models, in yellow gold, rose gold, and platinum. Made to a limited 150 pieces per model. There are also additional 3 models with see-through dials and skeletonized movements. The traditional Chinese window designs are eye-catching and made in a limited quantity of 100 pieces each.

IWC Schaffhausen; Pilot’s Chronograph Top Gun Edition Woodland

IWC has new models in its Pilot’s Chronograph Top Gun Edition. We are going to talk about Woodland here.  Featuring in sombre green ceramic with Ceratanium® at the case back and the pushers this watch looks as cool as the forests the pilots fly over. It is a double pusher chronograph, with the 30-minute and hour counter on the dial.

The indices look green but look nicely lit. Following the monochromatic design, the rubber strap continues to run in green with a fabric inlay. Each of the two models will be made in a quantity of 1,000 pieces.

Laurent Ferrier

A grade 5 Titanium, case making this an extremely light watch. The dial is in a blue gradient starting with a lighter centre and growing outwards to a darker blue. The assegai watch hands go so well with white gold indices adding to the elegance of the watch.

At the back is a see-through manual winding movement hand-finished and refined.

Tag Heuer: Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph

Tag Heuer forays into its first solar-powered watch with a TH50-00 caliber.

The dial is transparent and allows the sunlight to enter the movement to power it up. Just two minutes in full sunlight can power it up for a day. It also lightens up the Super-Luminova that features on the carbon bezel as well as indices. If the timepiece stops working exposure of 10 seconds to sunlight can restart the watch.

A sporty watch that professional divers can take down to the depth of 200 meters. Comes with a power-saving mode.

Highlighting eco- responsible sourcing practices, upcycling, the use of new materials, new energy sources and strategic partnerships with sustainable associations and organizations, the various initiatives will enable visitors to discover all these innovations and gain a better understanding of NFTs (Non-Fungible Token) and the world of metaverse.

Imagined as a journey through watchmaking creativity and illustrated by more than 100 timepieces presented in showcases designed by students of ECAL (École d’art de Lausanne), the event will also pay tribute to the work of Mr. Gérald Genta. Five pieces produced by students of the HEAD art & design school in Geneva will invite visitors to question the display of time, while an augmented reality experience will immerse the viewer in the history of a few watchmaking icons.
