Limited to just 100 pieces worldwide, the new creation combines Haute Horlogerie with the poetic codes of Haute Couture.
Presented in a 37mm 18K 5N pink gold case, the Égérie Moon Phase Spring Blossom features a luminous pink mother-of-pearl dial paired with a hand-painted calfskin strap adorned with delicate floral motifs. The Maison describes this as the first time miniature painting has been applied directly to a watch strap in this manner.
Inspired by the Poetry of Spring
The latest addition to the Égérie collection draws inspiration from the soft pink and white blossoms that define springtime landscapes. The watch embraces an entirely pink palette, with tonal variations enhancing its romantic and feminine aesthetic.
Its moon phase display sits between 1 and 3 o’clock within a diamond-set circular aperture aligned with the winding crown, itself set with a moonstone. Gold moons emerge from mother-of-pearl clouds against a dusky pink sky, adding depth and visual poetry to the composition.

‘THE DEADLY WATCH’ in detail:
The name of this limited edition ‘THE DEADLY WATCH’ is a first nod to the team of assassins working for the cruel Bill, who is relentlessly pursued by the heroine Beatrix Kiddo: The Deadly Viper Assassination Squad! A ‘deadly’ name for a truly badass watch that features a dial crafted entirely by hand in our Hanoi workshops, using traditional Vietnamese Sơn Mài lacquer techniques. Its unique colors, inspired by the aesthetic codes of the film KILL BILL and the world of Q.Tarantino in general are obtained from organic materials and create an intense ensemble with striking reflections and powerful symbolism:
– Yellow: is associated here with happiness, energy and purity of the soul. All these things were torn away from the heroine Beatrix Kiddo, plunging her into a blind quest for vengeance.
– Red: is associated with danger, anger, revenge, the heroine’s extreme passions, whether love or hate, and of course blood. Our master lacquerers came to smear the dial by hand with small splashes of blood using red pigmented lacquer.
– Black: on the dial’s outer rim refers to the overall atmosphere of the film, the smell of gunpowder lingering in the air after the initial shootout, the absence of light in Beatrix Kiddo’s heart, and the mystery surrounding her character, also known as ‘Black Mamba’.

– The name of this edition ‘THE DEADLY WATCH’ as well as the brand’s motto ‘Artisanship, Awakened’ are engraved at 12 and 6 o’clock respectively, in a ‘Western Spaghetti’ font, inspired by a genre dear to Q. Tarantino and omnipresent in his cinematography, echoing the logo on the dial.
– The quotation “I’m gonna kill Bill” borrowed from the strong and independent heroine Beatrix Kiddo, who is betrayed and left for dead, then embarks on a quest for vengeance to regain control of her life, is subtly engraved at 9 o’clock.

Handcrafted by master saddlers at Bouveret in Franche-Comté, France, the straps used on ‘THE DEADLY WATCH’ are inspired by the famous yellow and black leather outfit worn by the heroine Beatrix Kiddo, itself inspired by Bruce Lee’s cult films, dear to Q. Tarantino. For the sake of realism, we have selected a supple, durable, fine-grained matte black Barenia calfskin leather and paired it with a yellow calfskin lining – yellow topstitching on the top and red on the bottom. The two ZENITH DEFY Extreme Chroma editions combine titanium and ceramic, accentuated by a distinctive spectrum of colours. Their angular 45mm case comes either in microblasted titanium or in brushed and polished titanium, while the dodecagonal bezel, pusher protectors and crown are crafted in black micro-blasted titanium or white ceramic. The interplay of materials and finishes accentuates the DEFY Extreme’s architectural geometry, reinforcing its bold and dynamic character. Engineered for performance, it offers water resistance up to 20 ATM, making it ready for the most demanding conditions.
Inside the DEFY Extreme Chroma beats a unique version of the automatic El Primero 9004 calibre, whose bridges are PVD-coated in a spectrum of colours. This mechanical rainbow is partially revealed through the openworked black or white dial, where the markers and printings mirror the movement’s chromatic palette in a seamless gradient. Each movement displays its own distinctive colour composition. This vivid spectrum also extends to the tips of the subsidiary dial hands – for the chronograph hours and minutes at 9 and 3 o’clock, the chronograph power reserve at 12 o’clock, and the small seconds at 6 o’clock. On the reverse side, the polychrome theme continues with ZENITH’s signature star-shaped rotor, rendered in a striking blue hue for the black edition and electric green for the white edition.
From a technical standpoint, the El Primero 9004 sets itself apart through its ability to measure elapsed times to 1/100th of a second – a remarkable achievement made possible by two independent escapement systems, each with its own barrel and regulator. The first beats at 5 Hz (36,000 vph) to ensure precise timekeeping, while the second operates at an astonishing 50 Hz (360,000 vph) to drive the chronograph. The central chronograph seconds hand completes one full rotation of the dial every second, allowing readings of elapsed time accurate to 1/100th of a second.
Like all DEFY Extreme models, the Chroma editions feature a quick-change strap system, easily operated via push buttons on the back of the case. For over seven decades, Ahmed Seddiqi has been a cornerstone of the regional horology landscape, cultivating appreciation for fine timepieces and championing independent brands such as MB&F. The LM Perpetual EVO 75th Anniversary Seddiqi Limited Edition
The 75th Anniversary edition of the LM Perpetual EVO – limited to only 7 pieces – is housed in a grade 5 titanium case, engraved with the anniversary theme. It stands out thanks to the same striking blue colour first featured on the LM101 MB&F x H. Moser especially created for Ahmed Seddiqi in 2020. The signature blue colour has been applied for this edition to the sub-dials, contrasting with the anthracite dial plate in the background.
The LM Perpetual Baguette Diamonds 75th Anniversary Seddiqi Limited Edition
The second 75th Anniversary edition – even more limited, with just 5 pieces – inaugurates a first for the Legacy Machine Perpetual series: a refined bezel set with 48 baguette-cut diamonds. The case is crafted in stainless steel, engraved with the 75th Anniversary message. Like its EVO counterpart, it also features the same signature blue colour but applied on the dial plate, with contrasting black sub-dials displaying the time, day of the week, month and date.
LEGACY MACHINE PERPETUAL IN DETAIL
CONVENTIONAL PERPETUAL CALENDARS
Created by Northern Irish watchmaker Stephen McDonnell and premiered in 2015, the LM Perpetual calibre was — and still is — one of the most innovative perpetual calendar systems to exist in modern watchmaking.
Conventional perpetual calendars are generally modules comprising the complication, which is fitted on top of an existing movement. The calendar indications are synchronised by a long lever running across the top of the complication and passing through the centre. As the date changes, this long lever transmits information to the appropriate components and mechanisms by moving backwards and forwards. This traditional system is extremely unwieldy, restricting movement construction in several key ways that would make something like Legacy Machine Perpetual a mechanical impossibility.
In the traditional system, perpetual calendars assume that, by default, all months have 31 days. At the end of months with fewer than 31 days, the mechanism quickly skips through the superfluous dates before arriving at the 1st of the new month. Any manipulation or adjustment of the date during changeover can result in damage to the mechanism, requiring expensive repairs. The dates can also jump or skip during changeover, negating the whole point of the perpetual calendar in the first place, which is not requiring adjustment for years. Or decades.
MECHANICAL PROCESSOR
Legacy Machine Perpetual uses a “mechanical processor” consisting of a series of superimposed disks. This revolutionary processor takes the default number of days in the month at 28 – because, logically, all months have at least 28 days – and then adds the extra days as required by each individual month. This ensures that each month has exactly the right number of days. There is no “skipping over” redundant days, and no possibility of the date jumping incorrectly.
Using a planetary cam, the mechanical processor also enables quick-setting of the year so that it displays correctly in the four-year leap year cycle, whereas traditional perpetual calendar mechanisms require the user to scroll through up to 47 months to arrive at the right month and year. The mechanical processor also enables an inbuilt safety feature that disconnects the quick-set pushers during the date changeover, eliminating any risk of damage
OPENING UP A NEW WORLD OF PERPETUAL CALENDAR AESTHETICS
Legacy Machine Perpetual takes advantage of its fully integrated movement to place the perpetual calendar mechanism on top of the movement main plate so that it can be appreciated from above. Legibility is often an issue with perpetual calendars due to the sheer number of indications, and LM Perpetual addresses this by using skeletonised subdials (except for the time indication) that appear to float above the complication with no apparent support from below.
In yet another innovation, Legacy Machine Perpetual uses what is likely to be the world’s longest balance wheel pinion to connect that elegantly suspended balance, hovering above the top of the movement, to the escapement on the back of the movement.

MB&F – GENESIS OF A CONCEPT LABORATORY
Founded in 2005, MB&F is the world’s first-ever horological concept laboratory. With over 20 remarkable calibres forming the base of the critically acclaimed Horological and Legacy Machines, MB&F is continuing to follow Founder and Creative Director Maximilian Büsser’s vision of creating 3-D kinetic art by deconstructing traditional watchmaking.
After 15 years managing prestigious watch brands, Maximilian Büsser resigned from his Managing Director position at Harry Winston in 2005 to create MB&F – Maximilian Büsser & Friends. MB&F is an artistic and micro-engineering laboratory dedicated to designing and crafting small series of radical concept watches by bringing together talented horological professionals that Büsser both respects and enjoys working with.
In 2007, MB&F unveiled its first Horological Machine, HM1. HM1’s sculptured, three-dimensional case and beautifully finished engine (movement) set the standard for the idiosyncratic Horological Machines that have followed – all Machines that tell the time, rather than Machines to tell the time. The fiercely unconventional Horological Machines have explored themes as diverse as space and science fiction, aviation, supercars, the animal kingdom and architecture.
In 2011, MB&F launched its round-cased Legacy Machine collection. These more classical pieces – classical for MB&F, that is – pay tribute to nineteenth-century watchmaking excellence by reinterpreting complications from the great horological innovators of yesteryear to create contemporary objets d’art. Certain Legacy Machines have also given birth to EVO editions, featuring increased water and shock resistance compatible with collectors’ active lifestyles. MB&F generally alternates between launching contemporary, resolutely unconventional Horological Machines and historically inspired Legacy Machines.
As the F stands for Friends, it was only natural for MB&F to develop collaborations with artists, watchmakers, designers and manufacturers they admire.
This brought about two new categories: Performance Art and Co-creations. While Performance Art pieces are MB&F machines revisited by external creative talent, Co-creations are not wristwatches but other types of machines, engineered and crafted by unique Swiss Manufactures from MB&F ideas and designs. Many of these Co-creations, such as the clocks created with L’Epée 1839, tell the time while collaborations with Reuge and Caran d’Ache generated other forms of mechanical art.
To give all these machines an appropriate platform, Büsser had the idea of placing them in an art gallery alongside various forms of mechanical art created by other artists, rather than in a traditional storefront. This brought about the creation of the first MB&F M.A.D.Gallery (M.A.D. stands for Mechanical Art Devices) in Geneva, which would later be joined by the M.A.D.Gallery in Dubai – along with MB&F Labs, which showcase a more compact selection of artists in locations like Singapore, Taipei, Paris and Beverly Hills.
There have been distinguished accolades reminding us of the innovative nature of MB&F’s journey so far. To name a few, there have been no less than 9 awards from the famous Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, including the ultimate prize: the “Aiguille d’Or”, which rewards the best watch of the year. In 2022, the LM Sequential EVO was awarded the Aiguille d’Or, while the M.A.D.1 RED won the ‘Challenge’ category. In 2021, LMX won the Best Men’s Complication and the LM SE Eddy Jaquet ‘Around The World in Eighty Days’ was awarded in the ‘Artistic Crafts’ category. In 2019, the prize for Best Ladies Complication went to the LM FlyingT; in 2016, LM Perpetual won the Best Calendar Watch award; in 2012, Legacy Machine No.1 was awarded both the Public Prize (voted for by horology fans) and the Best Men’s Watch Prize (voted for by the professional jury). In 2010, MB&F won Best Concept and Design Watch for the HM4 Thunderbolt. The Vietnamese Art of “Son Mai”: Lustrous Brilliance and Profoundness
AWAKE has embraced a technique never before used in watchmaking for the ‘Cotton Candy’ limited edition’s dials: Sơn Mài, or Vietnamese sanded lacquer. This ancient art involves meticulously layering and polishing coats of natural lacquer to achieve a lustrous, mirror-like finish that elevates Vietnamese lacquerware to an unparalleled level of prestige.
All begins with the careful extraction of sap from the Rhus verniciflua tree, which grows in northern Vietnam and is renowned for producing the finest and most radiant lacquer. Each tree, after a decade of growth, yields a mere 200 ml of sap, harvested only during the early mornings of June and July. Once collected, the sap is processed to remove moisture and impurities, then filtered and dehydrated to create a transparent lacquer.
A Time-Intensive Process
The process begins with a base coat of lacquer, which is dried, sanded, and polished to achieve a flawlessly smooth surface. Natural pigments are then subsequently airbrushed to enrich the visual dimension of the dial and to produce a range of vibrant shades, inspired by the cyan and pink colors of the TickTockBelles logo. Finally, a dozen layers of lacquer are applied to provide protection, brilliance, and durability. This intricate, time-intensive process requires exceptional skill and unwavering precision, ensuring that every dial in the Sơn Mài collection emerges as a true work of art.

Renowned for its 68-hour power reserve, the movement is distinguished by a custom-designed tungsten rotor, sculpted with alternating reliefs and hollows to create a captivating play of light and depth, all protected by a sapphire crystal. Our signature water-resistance hallmark (the fish) and recycled 316L steel hallmark (the anvil) are discreetly engraved within the lugs — a playful reminder that one can take watchmaking seriously without taking oneself too seriously. Encircling the movement is a custom sandblasted ring, where the inscriptions specific to this limited edition are subtly laser-engraved.
Exclusive strap for TickTockBelles
To sublimate this limited edition of 33 pieces, we selected a white grained calf leather strap (20/16mm), with a soft, luxurious texture and embellished with light grey topstitching. Comfortable and resistant, this 105x65mm (S size) strap has been designed by Awake and TickTockBelles to complement each dial in this new collection to perfection and adapt elegantly to slimmer wrists. The bracelets for this limited edition have been handcrafted in France by master saddlers at the Bouveret factory in Franois, Franche-Comté. Each of the bracelets in this edition has passed through expert hands forged by years of experience, breathing soul into the material. Inspired by two Historic References
Renowned for the triple calendar moon-phase movements that it developed in the 1940s, and that were adopted by several other leading Maisons, Jaeger-LeCoultre introduced a new version of the complication in 2020 as part of the relaunched Master Control collection. 50 years after creating its first triple calendar movements, Jaeger-LeCoultre launched the Master Control Collection in 1992, naming it after its pioneering ‘1000 Hours Control’ certification. The certification protocol, which set a new standard at the time by testing the entire cased-up watch, has continually evolved in response to technological advances. The Collection also established its own aesthetic codes, defined by technical rigour and stylistic restraint, reinterpreting the classic round watches of the 1950s to create a timeless yet contemporary elegance.
A distinctive new visual approach
The classical triple calendar complication – also known as a complete calendar – shows the day, date, month, and moon-phases, with the days and months in the upper half of the dial, the moon-phase in the lower part and the dates marked around the periphery, indicated by a hand.

The two-tone effect of the new grained dial creates a visually compelling and highly legible version of this classical layout, with indications divided into distinct sections defined by alternating shades of light and dark grey. In the lighter-toned centre, the day and month windows are positioned at the top, with black decal indications on white discs. In the lower part of the central area, the moon phase display is contained within the small seconds sub-dial. Set against a blue sky dotted with stars, the polished moon subtly reflects the dark grey hue of the ring displaying the hours. Outside the hour circle, the minutes chapter ring is light grey, while the outermost circle displays the date against a dark grey background. The contrast between the light and dark greys is amplified by the way the grained texture of the dial absorbs and reflects the light differently, according to the shade of grey. Small flashes of red on the date indications around the dial and on the date hand add a discreet touch of contrast. The new dial retains all the other design codes of the Master Control collection: the elongated triangular applied indexes, complemented by Arabic numerals at 12, 3, and 9; the faceted Dauphine hands, polished on one side and brushed on the other; and the finely balanced, classical layout of the indications. Completing the signature aesthetic, the 40 mm Master Control case features refined finishes – polished on the bezel and the top of the lugs, and finely brushed along the sides, exuding a relaxed and understated elegance.
The in-house mechanical movement
Equipped with the Manufacture’s calendar movement Calibre 866, the Master Control Calendar displays hours, minutes, seconds, complete calendar and moon-phase indications. The high-performance selfwinding movement offers a power reserve of 70 hours. Calibre 866 introduces an original and fascinating new variation to the traditional format of dates marked around the outer periphery and indicated by a hand. In homage to the beauty of the moon-phase, the date hand is fitted with a rapid-gliding feature, signalled by red arrows on the date ring. Once a month, between the 15th and the 16th, the red-tipped date hand leaps swiftly across the 90 degrees that separate the two dates, ensuring that the moon-phase display is never obscured. The maison introduces the latest addition to its range: the Klepcys Dice Glacial Blue. Boasting this unique colour, it has a sophisticated and ethereal appearance.
The Klepcys DICE, the world’s first double independent chronograph, was first unveiled in August 2021. A much appreciated technical innovation that allows two-time intervals to be measured independently or in synchrony. It is the result of meticulous research and development conducted by esteemed master watchmaker Jean-François Mojon, the creative mind behind all Cyrus Genève watches since the brand’s foundation in 2010.
A useful tool for independently or simultaneously recording two elapsed time intervals in sports competitions, the new KLECYS DICE GLACIAL BLUE is also an excellent companion for everyday life, marking the rhythm of our daily activities.
This timepiece is distinguished by its remarkable versatility, making it the ideal complement to casual-chic attire, thanks to its newly introduced shade. At the same time, its sophisticated and refined allure makes it a suitable accessory for even the most elegant occasions.
Glacial Blue is a pale blue shade that draws inspiration from the depths of glaciers, the layers of frost in pine forests, or the sky dominated by clouds. The ideal hue to engender calm and serenity. And not only! Limited to just 38 pieces, the KLEPCYS DICE GLACIAL BLUE is crafted from grade 5 titanium and powered by the in-house manufactured self-winding movement, calibre CYR718, offering 55-hour power reserve when fully wound.
AN UNMISTAKABLE AND HALLMARK STYLE.
The case
The signature feature of the KLEPCYS timepieces by CYRUS Genève is its iconic cushion-shaped case, which comprises no fewer than 26 parts. The elongated lugs on the case body, the squared bezel with slightly rounded sides and the symmetrical twin crowns define its recognisable aesthetics.
The KLEPCYS DICE GLACIAL BLUE comes in a polished/brushed grade 5 titanium case with a transparent rear. It is 42 mm in diameter, 16.5 mm thick and water resistant up to 10 ATM. Titanium is a highly corrosion-resistant, hypoallergenic, and extremely lightweight material, ensuring a comfortable and elegant fit on the wrist.
The two independent chronographs can be started, stopped, and reset by pressing the pushers on the two crowns, which are situated at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock respectively. The two chronographs can be identified by the two black and white anodised aluminium rings on the crowns. The crown at 3 o’clock is also used for time-setting and winding the movement.
A unique display
The openworked architecture of the display is a well-thought-out approach that allows the chronograph mechanism and its column wheels to be seen in action from the dial side, standing out against microblasted plates in the watch’s signature colour: a light blue obtained through ALD treatment.
The elapsed times recorded by the two chronographs are easy to read thanks to the two-colour scheme that CYRUS Genève has adopted in white and glossy black. Both colours are featured on the chronograph counter at 3 o’clock, the double-scale flange around the dial, the column wheels and the respective crowns. The chrono minute and second hands are mirrored. The first chronograph, which is activated by the crown at 3 o’clock, is highlighted in white and resets at 12 o’clock. The second chronograph, distinguished by the glossy black hand, is set using the pusher on the 9 o’clock crown and resets to 6 o’clock.
The small seconds dial at 9 o’clock, with its original logo-shaped hand, mirrors the chronograph counter. Both the chronograph counter and the small seconds sub-dial are made of anti-reflective sapphire crystal, as is the hour track, which displays luminescent Arabic numerals and has been carefully shaped to accommodate the counters.
The latest addition to the Klepcys DICE collection exudes a casual-chic vibe, accentuated by a Cordura fabric strap that matches the colour of the dial and is secured to the wrist with a personalised titanium folding clasp.
A state-of-the-art, pioneering calibre conceived and crafted in our Manufacture
Our manufacturing facility in Le Locle, Switzerland, under the direction of the talented master watchmaker Jean-François Mojon, boasts a wealth of expertise in the horological art. This enables the Maison to continue exploring and pushing back the boundaries of watchmaking mechanics. This is a significant step towards the forefront of innovation in developing calibres that set new standards in terms of accuracy and performance.
CYRUS Genève continues to surprise the most demanding collectors with the new KLEPCYS DICE GLACIAL BLUE, which is powered by the prestigious CYR718 self-winding calibre.
Comprising 443 components, it beats at 28,800 vibrations/hour and has a single barrel providing 55-hour power reserve at full charge. It is equipped with two independent chronograph movements and two display axes: one corresponds to the chronograph seconds and the second to the 30-minute counter of the double chronograph. The chronographs are activated by two column wheels, which in turn activate the different levers and couplings that move the seconds and 30-minute chronograph display.
Activating the chronograph levers generates considerable shock and energy dispersion, particularly during the return-to-zero phase when the hammer on the heart cam is engaged. Thanks to a special insulation system, which ensures precision measurements throughout the event, the two chronographs function independently without exerting any influence on one another.
Special attention was also required for the motion work mechanism that carries the hour and minute hands. To optimise space and accommodate the double independent chronograph complication, Mojon came up with a concentric mechanism for the motion work. This mechanism is not only more compact, but also coaxial with the hands’ axes.
This innovative mechanism comprises two main plates with a micro-beaded finish and pale blue colour obtained with ALD treatment, on which the 218 components of the additional module corresponding to the two independent chronographs were assembled.
It should be noted that since the chronograph mechanism is visible on the dial side, the movement has been reversed. Its design provides an intriguing view of the two column wheels that constitute the “heart” of this complication.

Each version of this new release features a silver dial, and a white gold bezel set with 60 baguette-cut sapphires or tsavorites. Each colour is limited to just 10 pieces worldwide.
Each bezel is adorned with gemstones of the highest purity, invisibly set to create a seamless surface of brilliance. Due to the Maestro’s asymmetrical case shape, each stone is custom-cut, and the reduced metal surface posed a significant challenge, solved by in-house engineering innovations.

The Masterlink follows the legacy of the Sarawak, a unique timepiece created by Mr. Genta in 2007 for the Royal Family of Sarawak. With over 15 carats of precious stones – round diamonds and baguette rubies – and valued at over €1 million, the Sarawak marked Genta’s only known asymmetric integrated
bracelet watch, until now.
“The Sarawak is the first and only known asymmetric integrated bracelet timepiece created by Mr. Genta, and from its legacy began the journey that led to the Masterlink – the first asymmetric integrated bracelet watch available on the market today,” notes CEO Federico Ziviani.
The DNA of the Masterlink identity: asymmetric case shape, flawless integrated bracelet and singular finishings
The name Masterlink clearly reflects the Maison’s intent to maintain a strong connection with the founder’s creative vision – reinforcing this aim by incorporating links into the original design.
The identity of the Masterlink is defined by a harmonious blend of design, innovation, and craftsmanship. It begins with its asymmetric case shape (38mm), a refined evolution of the iconic Maestro silhouette, which retains the signature ‘smile’ at 6 o’clock, the Maison’s signature.
Equally distinctive is the integrated bracelet, the first of its kind for the Maison. Designed with hidden screws and a concealed butterfly clasp, it achieves a seamless look while ensuring exceptional ergonomic comfort on the wrist.
“Our aim was to let simplicity conceal complexity,” explains Federico Ziviani. “Showcasing a watch’s complexity isn’t too challenging. ”.
At 6 o’clock, the central links initially follow the curve of the ‘smile’, then gradually straighten out, while at 12 o’clock they extend the case and bezel’s straight topline. “We have created, as only few others have, a truly asymmetrical bracelet in haute horlogerie,” adds Federico Ziviani.
Completing the timepiece is a dedication to finishing excellence. The central link is vertically brushed to echo the direction of the dial’s Côtes de Genève motif, drawing inspiration from the elegance of Italian pinstriped tailoring and reinforcing the watch’s refined aesthetic. The dial itself features a linear relief motif, which is not stamped. Instead, it is constructed from two separate levels, layered to create true depth and sophistication.

Despite its slim 7.9 mm profile, the watch features a screw-down crown with a Clou de Paris motif. The dial uses a two-level construction for added depth, while the case back reveals a finely finished micro- rotor movement with a total thickness of just 2.7 mm. Water-resistant to 100 meters and Ergonteq-certified for optimal ergonomics, the Masterlink remains versatile enough for everyday wear, even with gemstones.

Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Master Ultra Thin collection represents the quintessential contemporary dress watch and in 2025, the collection is enriched with a new interpretation of the Master Ultra Thin Tourbillon Enamel. With a dial in anthracite grey Grand Feu enamel enhanced by a hand-guilloché sunray pattern and set in a 18k pink gold (750/1000) case, the new watch is offered in a limited edition of 50 pieces.
Inspired by in-house Savoir-faire in Grand Feu Enamel and Hand -Guillochage
The anthracite grey dial provides a dramatic backdrop for the tourbillon and the date display, and reflected light dances across the sunray pattern of the guillochage with every movement of the wrist. The hand- guilloché pattern is a work of immense precision and skill: each of the 180 ‘sun rays’ required six passages of the hand-operated rose engine lathe, making 1,080 lines altogether. Guided only by the eye and hand, the master guillocheur must ensure that every line is absolutely straight, evenly spaced and perfectly aligned, radiating out from the centre to the edges of the dial. In addition, the date sub-dial is hand-guilloché in a circular pattern (known in French as azurage) to create a subtle texture that contrasts with the sunray.
When the guilloché work has been completed, the dial is handed over to the master enameller, who begins the delicate task of applying the enamel. It requires five layers to achieve the desired intensity and depth of colour, with each layer followed by firing at 800ºC and carefully managed cooling.
Harnessing a legacy of Tourbillon Expertise
Since Jaeger-LeCoultre developed its first tourbillon movement in 1946, the tourbillon has been a key element in La Grande Maison’s pursuit of timekeeping precision. Invented to counteract the impact of gravity on the oscillations of the escapement, the delicate mechanism consists of a cage, within which the balance wheel and hairspring rotate. Over the course of almost 80 years, the Maison has invented many new tourbillon configurations and different hairspring shapes, the latter made possible because it is one of the few Manufactures to possess the specialised skill of shaping hairsprings in-house.
The movement powering the Master Ultra Thin Tourbillon Enamel is the latest generation of Calibre 978, which won an international chronometry prize in 2009, the year of its launch. The calibre has become Jaeger-LeCoultre’s mainstay tourbillon movement and was comprehensively updated in 2019 to harness new technology. Comprising 77 components, including a titanium cage, the tourbillon weighs less than half a gram. It is equipped with a flat, two-level hairspring designed with a specific curve at the attachment points to help ensure that the oscillations are as regular as possible, thus delivering a high level of timekeeping accuracy. The pink gold bridge is enhanced by High Watchmaking finishes, including bevelling, straight graining and drawn flanks, all meticulously executed by hand. With its finely handcrafted anthracite grey dial and mechanically sophisticated calibre, the new Master Ultra Thin Tourbillon Enamel epitomises La Grande Maison’s philosophy of uniting technical virtuosity with enduring beauty and timeless aesthetics.

The dragon seems to emerge from the dial, as if plucked straight from a legend. With its long horns, curled whiskers and sharp fangs, its face comes to life, capturing the light in every detail. Carved and engraved by hand in an alloy of white, yellow and red gold, each curve has been sculpted with extreme precision. The age-old creature finds refuge here, in an 18-karat red gold case, measuring 41 mm in diameter and 13 mm thick. The full force of the myth is captured in the perfect lines of this timepiece, ready to transmit its power to the wearer.
Every detail of the mask has been meticulously crafted by hand: from the engraving and sculpture to the micro-painting and gem-setting… this piece took nearly a year to design and it is the fruit of more than 200 hours of work involving all of Jaquet Droz’s master craftsmen and watchmakers. Carved from a solid block of gold, engraved on both sides and then applied to a decorated background, the mask appears to float over the movement.
Jaquet Droz also used a specific cut of precious stones, including cabochon-cut emeralds, in a bezel setting. Blending into the material, they accentuate its power and maximise the intensity of the dragon’s gaze. This newly-acquired cutting-edge expertise opens up a whole new field of expression, further enhancing the creative autonomy of the Jaquet Droz workshops.

This unconventional horological creation pushes the boundaries of traditional watchmaking, offering a bold fusion of mysterious design and groundbreaking mechanism.
At the heart of this horological masterpiece lies a series of unprecedented flying mechanisms. From the floating double-barrel system to the award-winning Ulysse Anchor Constant Escapement, the BLAST [FREE WHEEL MAILLECHORT] challenges the conventional and elevates precision engineering to new heights. Beneath the ultra-glass box, a dial crafted from Maillechort adds depth, evolving over time into a unique expression of character and craftsmanship.
TECHNOLOGY: FREE-FLOATING MECHANISM
At the heart of this edgy Haute Horlogerie complication, the unique and innovative UN-176 calibre seems to defy not only the laws of physics, but also the very principles of watchmaking construction. Perfecting this flying movement, entirely designed by the integrated Manufacture, required two years of research and development to Ulysse Nardin’s technical department.
The BLAST [FREE WHEEL MAILLECHORT] presents Ulysse Nardin’s award-winning flying tourbillon with the Ulysse Anchor
Constant Escapement. Composed of 45 components, the tourbillon is located at 6 o’clock and boasts a revolutionary constant escapement. Challenging the principle of the traditional anchor escapement, the Ulysse Anchor Constant
Escapement features a circular frame with a pallet fork fixed in the center, supported in space on two blade springs less than a quarter of the thickness of a hair in diameter. Mounted perpendicular to each other, these are subjected to a bending force that curves them and maintains them. This major technical achievement directed by Ulysse Nardin guarantees a perfectly even impulse on the balance wheel, irrespective of the watch’s power reserve. Thanks to silicon technology also incorporated in the hairspring and the escapement, the jewels of the usual escapement-wheel become superfluous, as does the anchor pivot. This exceptional tourbillon, which reflects Ulysse Nardin’s triumphs in terms of innovation, proudly won the Tourbillon Prize at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève in 2015.
At 12 o’clock, a floating double-barrel system is positioned, flying without any visible attachment on the surface. One barrel is fully exposed, while the other operates unseen. Precision ball bearings hold everything in perfect alignment. The energy it accumulates provides the timepiece with an exceptional autonomy of seven days, outlined by a highly original power reserve display at 4 o’clock. The indicator remains static, unlike the display disc: three bands opposing the indicator mean that the watch is fully wound, while a single band indicates that the power reserve is almost empty.
In addition, several additional flying mechanisms are displayed on either side of the barrel: on its left, an intermediate wheel, a power reserve differential, and a reduction gear; on its right, the winding mechanism that connects it to the crown’s winding stem, allowing the selection of the winding system train or the time setting.
DESIGN: A 360° VIEW INTO MECHANICAL MASTERY
The BLAST [FREE WHEEL MAILLECHORT] is a spectacular show. Its bold 45mm case, crafted in white gold, features negative angle facets designed using a complex laser method. Renowned for its disruptive aesthetic and ergonomic properties, this satin-finished and polished BLAST case once again proves the cutting-edge know-how of the independent Manufacture.
The geometric lines feature a unique ultra-glass box in sapphire crystal that offers a wide-open view of the mysterious movement, which is also visible through the sides. The distinctive characteristic of this glass box lies in its construction: it was carved from a single block of sapphire crystal, meticulously hollowed out to form the box and achieve this unparalleled shape.
Beneath the dome glass and the flying mechanism lies a dial crafted from Maillechort, a traditional alloy of copper, zinc, and nickel. Known for its warm, silvery tones and distinctive grained texture, it is prized for its durability and unique aesthetic.
More difficult to manufacture than brass due to its hardness and complex composition, it requires craftsmanship and precision. Historically used in musical instruments for its resonant acoustic properties, Maillechort is a “living metal” that develops a one-of-a-kind patina over time, adding character and depth. This material was invented in the early 19th century by French engineers Maillet and Chorier, whose combined names became “Maillechort”.
Underscoring the meticulous attention to detail in its design, the case back of the BLAST [FREE WHEEL MAILLECHORT] is open, featuring a sapphire glass and a Maillechort plate. This exclusive limited edition of 50 pieces features a blue velvet effect and waterproof rubber strap, with a white gold folding buckle.
