135 YEARS OF CARL F. BUCHERER AND 20 YEARS OF ETHOS

CELEBRATING TWO CULTURES WITH THE MANERO FLYBACK ANNIVERSARY IN BLUE

This year, Carl F. Bucherer is celebrating its 135th anniversary while Ethos Watch Boutique, an exclusive Indian watch retailer, marks its 20th birthday. The two brands, from two quite different parts of the world, are linking their anniversaries to unite their diverse cultures. As part of the celebrations, CFB is delighted to present the Manero Flyback Anniversary in blue. Designed in concert with the Ethos team exclusively for India, it is limited to just 88 pieces.

Ethos Watch Boutique is one of the largest luxury watch retailers in India, offering customers an omnichannel experience through its stores, website and social media. CFB first collaborated with the company in 2010 and its watches are now available in 18 outlets across the country.

CFB’s Manero timepieces are the pinnacle of its watchmaking prowess, and the Manero Flyback Anniversary is a powerful expression of the manufacturer’s rich history, engineering talent and pioneering spirit. The Manero Flyback Anniversary in blue is a great choice for Indian watch aficionados intrigued by craftsmanship, technology, history and heritage as well as its visual appeal.

Exuberant blue – a great fit for India
Redolent of expansive blue skies, the Manero Flyback Anniversary in blue can inspire a feeling of calm in wearers, simply by looking at its easy-going aesthetic. With blue subdials against a sunray-brushed dial with matt zones, along with silver counters and rose gold-plated index marks and hands, the materials and finishes of the watch suit the Indian subcontinent with its proud cultural heritage of gold-related accessories. These fine details are further complemented by a blue calf leather strap with rose seams.

Superb chronograph performance
The Manero Flyback Anniversary is powered by a CFB 1970 caliber, a fine automatic mechanical movement that delivers 42 hours of power reserve. Functions include a chronograph with minute and seconds counter, flyback, date, hour, minute and small seconds.

A watch for every journey
Designed for men and women in contemporary India, the Manero Flyback Anniversary in blue effortlessly flexes between day and night, the city and nature, work and leisure.

About Carl F. Bucherer

Carl F. Bucherer has been crafting watches since 1888 and is internationally renowned for its quality, innovation and pioneering spirit. CFB is one of only a few remaining independent and founding family-owned Swiss watch manufacturers – it is now led by third-generation family member Jörg G. Bucherer. The brand’s watches continue to evolve, combining contemporary style and advanced materials with the utmost precision and outstanding functionality.

Every timepiece produced is conceptualized, developed and hand-assembled in its own facilities in Switzerland – with many watches powered by CFB’s own movements, all designed and built entirely in-house. The brand is also the market leader in peripheral technology, having patented not only a peripheral winding system but a ‘floating tourbillon’ in a peripherally supported cage and a peripherally guided minute repeater regulator.

Since the very start, CFB has adopted an international mindset and a forward-looking attitude, exploring time through the perspectives of watch aficionados everywhere. Today, it showcases its expertise, refined over generations, with a major retail presence spanning four continents. This global network continually reminds the world what remains so special about the craft of Swiss watchmaking.
