62 silver reflections in a limited edition of just 101 numbered pieces: time melts and multiplies. Always new shapes of Contemporary Surrealism signed Exaequo Melting Watch.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! There is a moment when time stops flowing — it pauses, breathes, reshapes itself, and takes on new forms. That is the moment when Polyhedron is born, the new creation by Exaequo Melting Watch, where Surrealism returns to pulse through matter, between geometry and vision.
Unveiled in preview at Time to Watches – Geneva 2025, it is now finally available in a limited edition. More than a watch, Polyhedron is a perceptual experiment — a journey into the liquid shapes of time.
The creation of Designer and Co-CEO Italo Fontana, Polyhedron was born from the idea of breaking conventional perceptions of time and reassembling them into a new perspective, as multifaceted as human emotion.
Its name contains both an ancient and modern enigma — Polyhedron, the body with many faces — a symbol of multiple points of view, shades of the human soul, and the infinite versions of the same instant.
Forged from solid 925 sterling silver, each piece is a small sculpture: 62 surfaces on a case measuring 55 mm by 35 mm, capturing and transforming light into movement — as if the metal itself were breathing.
Each case, echoing the flattened oval shape of the acclaimed Classic model, requires over two days of meticulous craftsmanship — a slow dialogue between hand and material, where every facet reflects the pursuit of harmony between rigor and dream.
Beneath the mineral glass, three dial variations mark the rhythm of 101 lives: 101 numbered pieces, a tribute to the 101st anniversary of the Surrealist Manifesto.
Each dial offers a different window on time: white with black numerals, the reverse version, and a celebratory edition featuring the number 101 at the center — a reminder that every moment is an act of memory and imagination.
Inside beats the discreet precision of the Ronda 751.1 movement, keeping hours and minutes suspended in a silent dance.
Polyhedron embodies the idea that time can have a changing face — that the rationality of form can coexist with the vertigo of dreams.
It is the encounter between calculation and the irrational, between the brightness of silver and the shadow of thought. An invitation to wear not just a watch, but a vision of the world.
Completing the watch is a handmade Italian leather strap crafted by expert artisans and a 925 silver pin buckle that echoes the “melting” theme in its sinuous shape.

The solid silver caseback, secured with four screws, ensures a water resistance of 30 meters.
A collector’s watch, an artwork, a jewel. With Polyhedron, Exaequo Melting Watch opens a new chapter in its journey through Contemporary Surrealism — a universe where art meets mechanics, and time becomes pure, tangible emotion.
