To celebrate the Olympic events (the 33rd of the modern era), PEQUIGNET Manufacture, standard bearer of French watchmaking know-how, has imagined a specific model, the Royale Paris 2024 edition, which will be produced in a limited series of 33 pieces.
Based on the Royale Paris collection, the most “Parisian” of PEQUIGNET watches, this exclusive version presents a unique and “blue, white, red” colored large date display.
The iconic Eiffel Tower elegantly adorns the sapphire case back of the Royale Paris 2024 edition. To achieve this stylized engraving, PEQUIGNET has pushed the boundaries of innovation, using the lift-off process, an advanced microelectronics technique. Rarely used in the watchmaking industry, this additive process allowed the French Manufacture to precisely engrave this very complex motif. This high-definition solution combines aesthetics with technical prowess.
Three straps are offered: blue with red stitching, red with white stitching, and white with blue stitching.
The Royale Paris 2024 edition features a 41mm diameter case and an elegant white opaline dial. It is powered by the Calibre Royal®, a true 100% French innovation masterpiece, designed and assembled in the city of Morteau (Eastern France, in the Franche-Comté region), in the historic workshops of the Manufacture.
It is the first and only French-made mechanism that integrates all complications on the same plate. The small seconds at 4 o’clock, the day and date located in a double window at 12 o’clock with an instant jump at midnight, and the 88-hour power reserve positioned at 8 o’clock complete the functions of this version.

As a French high-end watchmaking manufacture, PEQUIGNET holds the label of «Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant». The conception and production of its watches and movements take place in its workshops located in Morteau, at the heart of the French Jura. Founded in 1973 by Émile Péquignet, this watchmaking house has always created timepieces that break free from conventional codes and norms. PEQUIGNET stands out as one of the few independent watchmaking houses.
In 2010, PEQUIGNET evolved into a manufacture, welcoming highly skilled watch engineers. The Manufacture designs exceptional calibres, incorporating the latest technologies that bring life to its innovative and elegant watch creations.
In 2011, PEQUIGNET made a mark by creating its own movement: the Calibre Royal®, the sole high-end French movement. It is designed and assembled by the PEQUIGNET Manufacture. A hand-wound version of the Calibre Royal® was introduced in 2018, followed by a third movement, the Calibre Initial®.
In 2021, PEQUIGNET joined Enowe Excellence, an organization founded by Hugues Souparis, a former industrialist and entrepreneur committed to supporting French excellence in craftsmanship.
In 2024, PEQUIGNET once again asserts its French specificity by designing a flying tourbillon, the Calibre Royal® Tourbillon, the fourth in-house movement. This fundamental step in the development of a Manufacture is a strong marker. It legitimizes and confirms the know-how achieved by PEQUIGNET. This exceptional watch allows the Manufacture to join the small group of elite watchmakers.
